Called the day before to get a nose piercing for my daughter. Told them her age. Was told ok. Walk in's only fine no problem. They told me what identification to bring. I go, when I get there they tell me sorry can't do it she's too young. Ok. great. You couldn't have told me that on the phone when I called the day before when I specifically asked that question instead of telling me that it was fine and that I could get the piercing.  Not happy won't be back and would never recommend. Went to get my tragus done. Perfectly clean and a great environment with reasonable pricing. AJ was thorough and so nice and did the piercing perfectly. Afterwards when I got faint he talked to me for probably 20 mins until I felt 100% better to get back on my feet. Amazing experience Read Less

My experience at 12oz was absolutely incredible. Yesterday I had another shop very inconsiderately cancel my appointment last minute because their client before me was hours late and instead of canceling their appointment they canceled mine. I was super bummed because this was a tattoo in memorial of my passed father. Not wanting to deal with the previous shop anymore I called over to 12oz because I've heard some really really good things about them. I spoke with Mario on the phone and he told me to come in so he could check out what I wanted done and set me up with an appointment. When I made it in Mario was actually free and was able to take me on the spot as his last appointment of the night. The shop itself is very clean and up to date and Mario was super friendly and funny. He executed my tattoo perfectly and I'm so happy with how it turned out! And the little goodie bag I got at the end was the icing on the cake! Will definitely return and will recommend to my friends and family! Thank you!!! Read Less

I have come multiple times to get a piercing done and each time I was told the wait would be "a few minutes" and it ends up being a long time. I tried to give one more chance but it happened again. I was told "a few minutes" and ended up waiting at least 15 minutes, all the while hearing the piercer himself having a casual conversation with someone. Like YOU HAVE A FREAKING CUSTOMER WAITING FOR YOU. and then another customer comes in asking for help to look for a new piece of jewelry and they talked at least 15-20 minutes. And then when they FINALLY finished, the piercer took another customer who had 'apparently' been there first and the receptionist tells me it's gonna be at least 20 minutes before they are done. WTF. I left. I have had it. "a few minutes" turns into a one hour wait?? More like a waste of my freaking time. I don't mind waiting but give me an honest answer of how long. Especially because I really did not have the time today. So BEWARE, if she says "a few minutes", it's possible you will be there at least half an hour. Screw that. Read Less

I got my nipples pierced about 2 weeks ago the balls are going into my nipple they are way to small!! He was extremely rude to my friend and I while we were there as well. My friend had gotten her tragus pierced 2009 and it was to tight and short it wasn’t healing right. He has no clue what he is doing, now I have to go get piercings fixed and spend more money that shouldn’t have to spend! Read Less

Everyone here (including the other customers) were extremely nice!  AJ was so informative about my piercing and even took the time to explain why my other piercings went wrong from other people in the past! I got my septum pierced and it literally felt like someone pulled a nose hair out of my nose with tweezers... even less than that. He took his time showing me the autoclave and explaining how to hide my piercing and how to make it shown. It looks amazing!!  I recommend anyone looking for a piercing (did not get a tattoo but the whole shop was so clean and set up beautifully ) definitely go here! Front desk isn't the friendliest, but AJ the piercer is nice. I had a tattoo done and while the artist is solid, there is part of a line not shaded in. I felt it was a little expensive to miss things like that. I will make sure to use all the artists there next time. All in all, a good shop that still leaves a little to be desired imo. Read Less

I got my nipples pierced by AJ this past July. I was super nervous going in and he made me feel super comfortable.I think the best part about my experience was after - I've read so many stories online about people having trouble healing their nipples. I can honestly say mine have been the easiest piercings I've gotten in quite some time. After the initial soreness went away I barely notice that they're there. My sister and I went to get our ears pierced here. She got a double forward helix; I got my inner conch. I'm so glad I came here. I did my research and found that AJ is part of the APP and he was very prompt in responding to my email. Thankfully, he does walk-ins! He explained the whole process, showed us as he used the autoclave, and then had us sit in the big, comfy chair, and we were done before we knew it. Quick, painless, easy. AJ is one of the best piercers in NJ.  Really, the guy really knows his stuff.  I've had my rook and vertical surface tragus done by him.  And you know what, the surface piercing, after 2 years, is still going strong in my ear (and those things don't usually last longer than a year).  I've gone to him a couple times throughout the years to ask questions and he's always kind and helpful.  The jewelry is a little expensive but he only gets quality metals, so you can trust it.  And honestly, I'd rather fork over more cash for a quality piercing that's going to heal successfully and not act up down the road.I've recommended him to all my friends and they have all had successful experiences as well.I can't speak for tattoo artists here, but for piercings, definetly go to 12 oz. in Deptford!
