For a long time I was afraid to get another tattoo. My fear wasn't because of the pain associated with tattooing. My fear was of getting another bad tattoo. My expierience has always been tattoo artists don't want to give you what you want, they want to do tattoos that they will like. I feel like I have never been able to walk into a tattoo parlor with just an idea and have that artist create an original piece. I went to Cardinal studio with just an idea. Not an image. Not something I picked from their book. Just a vague idea of what I wanted and what I didn't want. With a simple okay my artist went to his drawing board and created something original and beautiful. I was actually shocked he took what I said and created a piece of art just for me! Then he put it on my arm and I was so stunned that I received such a beautiful tattoo I forgot to tip him!! Out of the eight tattoos that I have the one that I received from Rich makes those look like kiddy drawings. The prices here are fair and I have to admit that I have paid more for crappie unoriginal "artwork" (I use that term lightly.) I found Cardinal Tattoo by using the Google terms search "New Jersey's best tattoo shops". Rich proved he definitely is New Jersey's best tattoo shop. Read Less

It's a family affair when we go to Cardinal. We have had work done from all 3 artists and always are amazed by their work. Although I'm kinda sad now that you have to book 5 moths in advance to get in. But I guess you know you go to great artists when they are booked that far out. Read Less

By far the most talented tattoo artists in the Philadelphia areaI made a Yelp just to leave a review....I've gotten a large lion chest panel and I'm going back to Lee for a realistic nature sleeve.
