I recently moved to west Windsor from NC and was in search of a new neotraditional tattoo artist in the area, everyone I worked with recommended this shop and an artist named Ben. I cruised his Instagram and liked I saw DID NOT like who I met. I went into the shop today and was greeted by everyone super friendly Ben was in the middle setting up and paused to talk to me, before I could show or explain my idea he responded that his hourly rate is 120, no negotiation. Kinda rude right? He then proceeded to tell me my design was too simple, pretty much calling it a waste of his time. Total douche bag. Overall I will give this shop a 4. The piercer here is amazing. I’ve got 9/11 of my piercings done here. However I got a tattoo done here on my side. Me and the guy took about an hour and a half drawing out what I wanted which was very simple might I ask and I was satisfied with the drawing. However when it was done it was not quite what I wanted nor what I seen him sketch out. I’m not sure if he messed up and had to freehand directly in my skin. I don’t like the tattoo and I don’t like it showing. I went back a few weeks later and I didn’t see him. I got a septum piercing here. They were really helpful, and they answer any questions I have thoroughly when I call :) Everything was wonderful, it was quick, and nothing was infected. My only issue is that the piercing is crooked, which bothered me at first, but it isn't noticeable from the outside--only I can tell because it's my nose! Overall pretty good for me, but the crooked piercing may bother some people, so maybe don't get a septum piercing here, but I know a few people who got other piercings and it looks awesome, no issues. I got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience the tattoo parlor is clean they remove the tattoo gun needles right in front of you when they are preparing for your tattoo. I went yesterday to get my belly button pierced. Kenny was very supportive and made sure I was comfortable and joked around with me to make me less nervous of what I was about to do. The area was sanitary and I was pleased with the outcome with a cute bar too! My cousin got a Tarot card by LC. He's amazing and is precise with his work making sure to she was happy with the work. My boyfriend, who got a tattoo by Nic, is very pleased with his work too. Nic has a great personality, is friendly, and frequently checked on him to make sure he was comfortable and okay. I like Nick as a person, but as a tattoo artist - he's still inexperienced. I've had many tattoos in areas that are considered to be the most painful. Yet receiving a tattoo from Nick on my upper arm turned out to be the most painful of them all. My large lower back piece, my entire rib tattoo, they didn't compare in pain to this arm piece. I now have so much scarring on my arm from how deep the needle went in - not to mention the lack of technique which left deep wounds - that I'm now sorry I went here to begin with. Also, he did not fill the tattoo with color. He shaded and then left open spots where my normal skin color is seen through the design. The grey wash was quite literally scribbled on with what seemed to be done with no direction or design. With such high ratings and reviews I though hey, has to be good. Well, live and learn. Oh and don't let me forget - THERE ARE NO SINKS IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. And if there happened to be one way in the back - and no, not in the bathroom either - my tattoo artist certainly didn't use it. These guys helped me out when I was worried about my nipple piercings. I made the mistake of going to k&b tattoo to get them pierced and the lady there used the wrong kind of jewelry to pierce them and she pierced them way too far back. It was a painful and horrifying experience at k&b. So kiss of ink checked to make sure they weren't infected, replaced my short jewelry with longer bars, and even offered to re-pierce them. Joe did my tattoo at the hartford convention center in Connecticut. It was a simple one. The Gears of War symbol. I've been a fan of the game sense the first one so I wanted to show my support for the game. The tattoo came out wonderfully and he was super quick and efficient. OMG. So i went to in the shop lost as ever. I spent like 30 min talking to the lady in the front about my situation. long story short i went in the shop because my hole had closed from the inside of my nostril because when the first person who pierced my nose used a straight screw which he shouldn't have used. So the screw kept coming up. and eventually fill out. I took a trip to the shop and the guy fixed me up!! My tattoo is awful, crooked and the lines are super uneven. Not only is my tattoo terrible, the service was much worse. The girl at the front was very nice, but the guy who did my tattoo was unbelievable. He was making perverted comments to/about me the entire time (I'm an 18 year old female) and actually went as far to "joke" about stalking me. I can't even write some of the comments he said on here. I most definitely will NOT be going back there for a touch up, or ever for another tattoo.My friend got a piercing, and the girl who does piercings with dark short hair is very sweet, her piercing is also very well done. They were super nice to me then I first came in, I asked them for a patch test to see if the ink would cause a reaction, but they said with would be a waste if I was testing so I could get small tattoos later. So I came out with two very small tattoos and only paid 50(their base price) for it. They even tried to take an interest in what I wanted and made me feel comfortable because I was a tattoo virgin that watched a little too much YouTube.
