On my first visit in I felt like I'd been stopping in for years. It can be hard to find a tattoo artist you can trust to offer friendly yet no-bullshit service and great tattoos. Mark does great work with clean lines that look unreal and keeps you happily entertained with good tunes and witty conversation. Plus, Adam even came over to hang out with us. I got my very first tat here on Jan 11! Which was an important day for me not only my Bday but my late Grandpa as well. Great work but AWFUL customer service skills. I placed a $50 deposit to reserve an appointment in March, but was not able to make my appointment due to a death in the family. I called and spoke with someone there to reschedule and they told me they were busy and would call back in a few minutes. We're now in May, still no call back, still no rescheduled appointment, still out of $50. Thanks for nothing. Read Less

I went in for a simple tattoo of a rose, skull and dagger. I didn't have any pictures to reference but I told the guy my idea and how I wanted it laid out he was like 'cool come back in a week'. I come back and me and him are bullshittng for over half an hour after the tattoo appointment is supposed to start. He was telling me how he builds wall mounts for toy light sabers and sells them, and yes, this is important to the review. Finally he's like 'OK, let me draw this up re...al quick and we'll get going.' I say 'Wait, you had a week and you didn't even bother drawing up the tattoo?' He replies 'Yea, is that a problem?' I say 'That's a huge problem for me, it's going to be on my body forever and you think youre just gonna draw it up right now without taking the time to look at it and make sure there's no problems?' He fishes $20 out of his pocket and flicks it towards me. 'Then you don't need to get a tattoo.' I pick up my deposit and walk towards the door. 'You're a real fucking moron, dude, I'm one of the best tattoo artists around.' was his parting words to me. This guy completely neglected his job to play with toy lightsabers all week. I also have a close friend that had a terrible experience with him, this time he actually drew something up though. She didn't like what he drew and asked to change some things about it, some small details and filigree and he REFUSED. He told her what he drew was the better tattoo than what she was describing and he said he wasn't changing these small details to accommodate her because he wasn't going to do a bad tattoo. My daughter and I went New Year's Eve to get mother and daughter tattoo's. He was supposed to be closed but he opened to do our tattoo's. I was really nervous but sitting with Mark and talking with him he makes you very comfortable. His shop is so clean and I have to say very gentle when doing the Tattoo. I have many pieces of work done from different artist and places. I have to say that he is the most thorough guy in the world. He takes his time and works with you hear with what you want. There is no stress no pressure what so ever. That said let's talk about styles. He can do it all as far as styles of tattoos. Anything you ask he will take and make it pop with color and detail and blow your mind. The hardest thing are cover ups. He does those to and a wonderful job at that. He has a main website you can check or you can find stuff on facebook for this place. He will talk to you play music just very laid back to make you feel comfortable.
