Inksanity began in 2005 in Somerset, NJ. For over ten years they catered to all of Central New Jersey's tattoo and piercing needs. Inksanity built its business on the premise that tattoos and piercings are for everyone! Whether it's for your first tattoo or you are looking for something to add to your extensive collection of body art, Inksanity will have the artist or piercer who will be sure to make your ideas come to life. As of 2015 Inksanity has moved to South Plainfield, New Jersey, just 20 minutes away from the old location, to continue bringing master body art and piercings to the area.

Went to Forever Ink because my cartilage piercing would not heal. It had been 7 months and one day it began bleeding and the bubble on the back hadn’t gone down for months no matter how many treatments I tried. I decided to try a different piercing place and I found forever ink. Found out my jewelry had nickel in it, and my skin was reacting to that and therefore it wasn’t healing. I never would’ve known! I got a titanium bar.
He also drained my bubble which was a relatively painful experience but it needed to be done. I hope it heals now, and I will go back here if I have any more issues

This place is great. I was originally dissatisfied with the way my navel piercing looked (to no fault of the piercer, just my anatomy). Kai offered to repierce it for free with new jewelry, for no charge at all! It looks great and I am very happy with it. You can tell they care very much about their customers.

My mom and I both had our noses pierced- it was fast, clean, and almost virtually painless! The staff is friendly and encouraging, and they make sure the process is explained and your needs are met. Definitely the place to go for a piercing!

Took my almost 5 month old to get her ears pierced here and so glad I did! We wanted to make sure we took our baby to a professional piercer and not some “Claire’s” kind of place. Malakai was professional and great with my daughter. She looks great in her earrings and it hasn’t bothered her at all. Thank you for being quick and precise as well as very sweet to a first time mom and my baby. Will be back for her name tattoo!

I even contacted one of the employees prior and made sure the jewelry price was included in the $60. They said it was. After the piercing was already done they charged me $80. Please change prices on the website if they’re incorrect.

Got my nostril pierced here over 4 years ago now by Malakai. Words can't describe how awesome he was through the whole thing! Never even had a chance to be anxious about the needle, he was so quick and painless. I came in with the wrong gauge ring and he gave me one that would fit right and that I loved for next to nothing. The shop is the cleanest I've ever seen and a super chill environment. Whenever someone tells me they want something pierced, this is where I send them!

Got a cartilage piercing done here more than 3 months ago and it still hurts. I gave up on it healing and am going to let it close to get it redone somewhere else. This was my 7th piercing and I never had an issue healing but my first time using this parlor. Will not come back since the guy barely looked at the position of the cartilage on my other ear when I asked him to do it the same. There were no other customers but he rushed my friend's and my piercings. Very disappointing that I tipped him well.

I've been trying to find the perfect words to write this review and I don't know if I have them. However a few weeks back I went I contacted Kai to get a memorial for a miscarriage I had. The tattoo to me was simple with strong meaning and I went in with an idea. Kai took it and made it perfect. He used his experience and artistry to create the perfect tattoo. Kai was very personable and comforting. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for work done.

Went to Forever Ink because my cartilage piercing would not heal. It had been 7 months and one day it began bleeding and the bubble on the back hadn’t gone down for months no matter how many treatments I tried. I decided to try a different piercing place and I found forever ink. Found out my jewelry had nickel in it, and my skin was reacting to that and therefore it wasn’t healing. I never would’ve known! I got a titanium bar.
He also drained my bubble which was a relatively painful experience but it needed to be done. I hope it heals now, and I will go back here if I have any more issues

Malakai was professional and great with my daughter. She looks great in her earrings and it hasn’t bothered her at all.
