I went there to get pierced, and was told that the piercer had "just left to go to the store" and "will be back in a minute." As you can expect, she took 30+ minutes to return and another 10 minutes to even acknowledge that I was sitting on the couch waiting for her. She called me back and asked what I wanted to get pierced, and after I told her, she started digging through a small drawer of jewelry (with no gloves on) finding the proper one. She told me to lay down and then she just went for it. She didn't mark the spot she was going to pierce, didn't show me what jewelry she was using, didn't tell me what to expect during the process- all things I EXPECT from a professional piercer. Luckily, I've gotten pierced several times so I kind of knew what was happening anyway. After she finally got the jewelry in, she practically ran to the register to ring me up without showing me what the piercing looked like. Overall, I had a really poor experience and will not be returning. Don't go here to get pierced.

We made an appointment for a piercing multiple days in advance. We showed up and they had us sign documents and then we sat for about 40 minutes to be told the piercer just “wasn’t coming” and would be in 3 hours after our scheduled appointment? Any other job you’re that late, you are fired so not sure what they accept as a proficient effort here but seems incredibly low. It was the most unprofessional experience in my life, would never return.

Chelsea did such an amazing job in January with my memorial tattoo for my aunt who passed away in December. The shop was extremely clean, the artists were friendly, and Chelsea was just downright amazing. This was the best tattoo/healing process I've had from any artist thus far. Will be going back to Chelsea in June for another!

Well once they have your money for a gift card they treat you like shit. No time for someone that paid already. I stopped in...was told an artist would call...checked back in 3 weeks on FB messenger and was told they are too busy to call people back. I'll be making several complaints. Anyone wanna buy a 150 gift card? Then they don't even give you a name of who you are messaging with. I asked for the owner. I'm sure the health department will know who it is.

I won't even recommend this shop to my enemies. Awful

My Aunt and I got our nose pierced here and I have already had to take mine out because the piercer pierced mine at angle so the piercing isn't even fitting against my nose but sticks out so a bottom ...
My Aunt and I got our nose pierced here and I have already had to take mine out because the piercer pierced mine at angle so the piercing isn't even fitting against my nose but sticks out so a bottom part makes a "V" with my nose and sticks out like the rock in lion king. When I asked her about it she told me to "move the piercing around a bit" she didn't even seem to care that I was concerned. I called and emailed a picture to a different piercing place and they told me I would need to remove the piercing, let it heal and have to get it repierced. So now $70 later my aunt and I will need to spend more money on something different. DO NOT get a piercing here, or if you do, proceed with caution. Bad piercing, no refunds, and horrible service. Members of my family got tattoos as well, they were good tattoos which is what really matters but again the service was terrible. No one was friendly towards us and seemed incredibly indifferent.

This shop is really great. Not only did I get an extremely clean, beautiful tattoo done by angel, but how they treated me here was beyond my expectations. I had originally walked in for a cover up and I was telling heather how the other shop I previously went to disrespected me. How I got an infection (which if it weren't for heather and angel I never would've known it was infected), and how they raised their voices at me simply because I refused to go back. When heather found out, she literally picked up the phone, called the other shop owner, and spoke in my defense. She didn't have to, she didn't know me, but because what the other shop did was wrong. So if you're in town looking for a talented artist, good people, and a clean environment. This is your shop.

me and my brother are regulars at AC ink in somers point. Dan is our artist, he did both of our full sleeves. dan is the definition of a true artist and all that being an artist comes with and some people don't understand or appreciate that. we heard about Dan through word of mouth and checked him out on Instagram. we are able to have fun while getting tatted and even catch up with people we know when we are there. i always say I wish Dan was around when I started getting tattoos at 18. for all you out there looking to get artwork done or a first tattoo you can't ask for a better experience. getting a tatt or especially your first one needs to be your best! the entire staff is real cool from Chelsea to angel all the way down to the owner Dave. defiantly going to be getting inked up here for years to come with my family and friends.

If it was possible to give no stars, I would... Just walked out of the shop completely livid... The employees are extremely rude & the shop is small & looks unkempt. They have a man walking around, who appears drunk, pulling up his shirt & showing his piercings... The "piercer"/tattoo artist was extremely rude when I said that I had called & was given the price of $30 for each of the piercings I wanted to do (tongue & nose) he became irate & said I'm not doing it for that amount, you must have heard wrong & then proceeded to tell me "I've been piercing for longer than you have been alive & will not lose money on you" when the response to him was but you don't have to be rude & it's about customer service, if that's the price I was told it should be honored & he said "I don't need your $30" which was the point where my friends and I walked out... He lost 3 customers & over $160 in the process, so maybe he should learn how to do math since he's "been alive longer than I have"

Chelsea did such an amazing job in January with my memorial tattoo for my aunt who passed away in December. The shop was extremely clean, the artists were friendly, and Chelsea was just downright amazing. This was the best tattoo/healing process I've had from any artist thus far.
