I loved my experience here! I must say I have never been to a tattoo place where the artist really took their time with me to try to understand what I wanted and then hand draw it themselves to make it even more unique. Jenna was so great. She gave me a lot of font options as well-- which another shop did not do for one of my other tattoos, and was really patient and cool about me taking time to find the right one. I was very happy with the final product and it has healed nicely. A lot of my friends have their own particular tattoo artist that they always go to and now I have found mine. I would highly recommend this shop (the other artist there was nice as well and also seemed to take his time with whoever he was working with or talking to). When I'm ready for the next one, I will be back!

I have recommended several people to this shop after going with a friend. I cannot speak highly enough to the professionalism and artistry of especially Jenna. She dealt extremely well with a friend who realized that HE had made a mistake in the Chinese characters that he had wanted. She was patient, kind, and supportive in the face of confusion. She currently is working on a leg tattoo for my brother. She took his idea and has turned it into a budding masterpiece. Tony and Troy are helpful, knowledgeable, and easygoing. All artists make their clients and the friends that come for support feel welcome and at ease. I personally have received tattoos at 2 other places years ago and while I love them, the overall experience does not compare to Skin Alternative!

I got a memorial tattoo from Jenna for my friend that passed in 2016. All i gave her was a picture of him and a punk rock looking teddy bear and she came up with the best design ever. I honestly was blown away by the sketches she sent me because even though she never met my friend the tattoo just captures his essence completely. I will only be going to Jenna from now on and only be getting my tattoos done here because not only is Jenna an amazing artist but the place is very clean and professional. The staff is amazing and when you walk in you just feel comfortable even though when you are there you will probably be going for something painful! I highly recommend this shop and I highly recommended seeing Jenna because she is extreamly talented and just a beautiful artist.

There are not enough words to express how happy I am with the work I've had done here. I have 3 tattoos from this location. 1 was done by Jenna and 2 by Tony. Both are absolutely amazing artists and do not disappoint at all. The shop is impeccably clean. It's a very welcoming environment and very professionally run by Troy who is an amazing artist as well. I recommend anyone looking to have a tattoo done go to this shop.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I think the staff at Skin Alternative deserves it. First, I have to say, the shop was immaculate and all the areas were super clean. The staff was very friendly, professional and made you feel right at home. Almost like hanging with friends. Jenna is an amazing tattoo artist and she drew up a nice custom badass design for me. I was very happy with her work and I'm not easy to please! I would definitely recommend them for your tattoo. They make the experience pretty painless with an awesome payoff!

I loved my experience here! I must say I have never been to a tattoo place where the artist really took their time with me to try to understand what I wanted and then hand draw it themselves to make it even more unique. Jenna was so great. She gave me a lot of font options as well-- which another shop did not do for one of my other tattoos, and was really patient and cool about me taking time to find the right one. I was very happy with the final product and it has healed nicely. A lot of my friends have their own particular tattoo artist that they always go to and now I have found mine. I would highly recommend this shop (the other artist there was nice as well and also seemed to take his time with whoever he was working with or talking to). When I'm ready for the next one, I will be back!

The staff was very friendly, professional and made you feel right at home. Almost like hanging with friends. Jenna is an amazing tattoo artist and she drew up a nice custom badass design for me.
