North Jersey Tattoo is a shop dedicated to creating amazing art on amazing people. We are a full service tattoo shop specializing in anything from comic book art to the dark and obscure. We are dedicated to creating an incredible atmosphere and making every tattoo you get a tattoo you will be proud to have. We take walk-ins, schedule appointments and take our time to create a piece you will forever be happy with. Owned and operated by Shawn Berhman and his wife Roxy. After eight years in the industry and working with countless amazing artists it is time for North Jersey to shine.

My first time here was back in January and it was my first tattoo. Even though the piece was simple, Vinny made me feel so comfortable and made a really meaningful experience so much better. Fast forward to now....Vinny was working on another piece for me and unfortunately, he is no longer with this bad ass crew. Shawn steps in, I explain what I am looking for and he designs the most amazing piece that literally, the drawing alone had me breathless. It's still in the works and I am looking so forward to seeing come to life! The customer service, level of comfort and unbelievable artwork Shawn has brought to the table for me is unreal! Can't wait to post pics of the finished piece!

I really can't say enough good things about this place. Super clean and such a comfortable atmosphere! A friend recommended this place to me and I'm so thankful that he did. I came here to get an old tattoo covered up (that someone else had done) and Shawn did such an amazing job. I really can't believe how talented he is! It Was so quick and he made it as comfortable and pain free as possible. I didn't bruise or even scab like the last time. He was really great. I would recommend this place to anyone and IF I ever get the courage to get another one this is the only place I would ever go back to.. for now I'll just stop in and visit though lol! Thanks again, Shawn - you rock!

The artwork here is outstanding, in my observation unparalleled in the area. Additionally, the price is more than reasonable. The shop is clean and the tools are properly sterilized. I will return to this business again. Lastly, North Jersey tattoo is military friendly. I recommend all North Jersey vets check this place out first while doing their tattoo research. You will not be disappointed.

Two minutes later I was back in there setting up an appointment for a tattoo!! Shawn was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in! I love my new memorial tattoo for 9-11-01,it came out absolutely amazing! I've been to quite a few places & this is by far the BEST! A couple of weeks later I was back in there & my husband got one too!

I came here to get an old tattoo covered up (that someone else had done) and Shawn did such an amazing job. I really can't believe how talented he is! had my third visit to NJT today and saw Shawn (for the 3rd time). i absolutely love his work and today he did an incredible piece for me. very very very clean shop and shawn is the best. lucky mike did a piece on my friend and he loves it too. all around great guys in here, phenomenal atmosphere, they produce incredible art, and have fun doing it. 666 out of 10 will be going again

I went there looking to get a new ring for one of my piercings, I wasn't even thinking of getting another tattoo yet! So Shawn recommended a place to get a new ring for my piercing. Two minutes later I was back in there setting up an appointment for a tattoo!! Shawn was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in! I love my new memorial tattoo for 9-11-01,it came out absolutely amazing! I've been to quite a few places & this is by far the BEST! A couple of weeks later I was back in there & my husband got one too!

The shop is very homey with amazing Art and great vintage New jersey pieces hanging on the walls.
I cannot stress enough that this shop is the real deal! Fantastic customer service, Amazing artists, Outstanding prices And you leave with Great Vibes And something you are PROUD to show off!

I have had two tattoos done by Shawn Berman and all I can say is wow!! What a great job. The shop is clean he is an amazing artist. They make sure you are extremely comfortable and feel at home.
