In my opinion it's one of the best tattoo shops in Jersey hands down!! The shop is amazing with all the art work and cool stuff, you could spend hours looking around!! They're like an old school barber shop where everybody's talking laughing and having fun, all there missing is the guy sweeping the floor lol. Everyone in there is respectful and super nice. Jersey Jay is help me out tremendously by covering up a giant tattoo and then continues to impress me by the outstanding work he keeps doing on me. First Tattoo, Overall experience was awesome. I had called to see if they would take my buddy and I on such short notice. Nicki told us it would be no problem and she started working on our designs before we even got there. By the time we arrived, everything was set up and ready to go. Just matter of sizing up the tattoo for location. She even stayed late and didn't rush the tattoos. Its the extra mile for customer service that is appreciated. I was very disappointed to see the complete trasformation of my tattoo design upon arriving at my appointment. They advertise about not making excuses but the excuse as to why my piece needed a complete make over was "somethings just don't make good tattos". It almost felt like it was a scam to make a quick 100 off of my deposit. My tattoo was of two butterflies which seems simple enough to me however since I was not willing to let her permanently mark my body with the young lady's version of what I asked for i was not refunded and also told I could pay another 100 to have her try again. No ma'am. I believe something fishy has taken place today. I didnt need anyone to "fix" it. Just someone to keep it in the lines and make sure the left looks the same as the right. Be clear as day about what you want before you ever give someone money. And follow any initial gut feelings. Also a good sign to know that you shouldn't work with them is when they interrupt you while your explaining what you want. It means they are not listening to your needs. A tattoo is for life. It's not some conversation you can half pay attention to and then have everything work out right. Listen more to your clients Pogue and guys don't let people give you excuses and keep your money. Nicki was her name. Sorry but it's policy to keep money when a clients cancel. I didn't cancel. You ruined the piece and then scammed your client. If you're not capable of a task don't let them make the appointment. I wish this all could have gone differently. Remeber just because you can't do something doesn't mean it can't be done period. Had work done by several tattoo shops before and always THOUGHT that I got a nice piece. Boy was I wrong. I Had my first experience with Gabriel yesterday and I must say it was the best ever! His talents are beyond words. The work that he did makes every other tattoo that I have look like a joke. I highly recommend him and not only is his work amazing but he is great to talk to as well.
