Got my philtrum pierced here - I was a walk-in. The initial piercing was good, but when I returned for the shorter piercing I had some trouble. There was one person on staff when I went to get it done and she was incredibly kind and knowledgable. She walked me through the piercing and told me how to take care of it. It was relatively painless and looks great. But, when I returned around 8 weeks later to get the shorter piercing - which the woman there had told me to get after it had healed - I had some trouble. The first time I went there, I was told I would be helped soon, but the people there ultimately left me standing in the waiting area for an hour, even though I just needed a different shaft for my philtrum. I had walked in, though, so I understand they were busy. I came back a few days later, and the shop didn't seem to be open when it was supposed to be. The open sign was on but the door was locked. I came back a couple hours later and someone was sleeping on the couch inside; she told me to wait for someone else to come in to handle the piercing. I waited for another hour for her to show up. She was nice, but she looked confused and didn't seem to know what I needed. I sat waiting while she was guessing sizes and lengths, which made me a little wary. She spent about 5 minutes looking for something which she ultimately decided she didn't need. The replacement shaft she gave me has been good, but I was just a little wary after there was a lot of confusion when I came back after it had healed. It felt like she didn't really know what was going on, and that made me nervous. I would have rather had her tell me to make an appointment or come back when the piercer was back, looking back on it. I would come back for another piercing, but I think I would make an appointment with the woman who initially did my piercing to avoid any more confusion.
