I love this place! I'm very spontaneous with my tattoos and whenever I want one they accept me right away as a walk in and it is always a really great time! They are extremely clean and their pricing is great! I usually go to Marshall. His artwork is absolutely amazing and he always makes sure I'm satisfied with my tattoo. I would not go anyplace else for a tattoo. Brody was amazing with me. I gave him an idea and he worked with me to come up with a beautiful tattoo. He takes the time to talk to you. My husband and I had our first tattoo here. We had originally asked for Brody but he was completely tied up until February. The co-owner, Colleen is so nice, she took the time to talk to us and then stated perhaps another artist can tattoo us. She gave us some books to look at and we found Ryan Thompson.Ryan was wonderful! He was so nice and funny. He was very good about making suggestions to make it better. He advised us and never pressured us into doing any more things on a whim. In otherwords, he wants us happy and not to make a permanent mistake.Not going to lie...tattoos hurt. Not a OMG, I'm going to die hurt but an annoying, ouch hurt. My husband had it on his side and I had it on my wrist.Will definately go back to him. He's great. By way of background, I'm a 45-yo business professional who needs to keep any & all tattoos hidden.  I've had 3 tattoos done at 3 different shops, all with mixed results.  For my 4th, I was going to be exacting in my choice of shop.  After 3 years of looking for a good artist who could conceptualize my idea AND who was good with shading, I found that in Jim W. @ Slingin' Ink.  I gave him a few printouts of what I generally had in mind, explained the overall scene I had envisioned, and he had a finished picture in 4 days.  It was perfect!Jim was VERY patient with me during the process.  This was quite a large shoulder piece with a lot of black, so it really hurt at times.  Plus, I'm a total wuss.  Jim gave me breathers when I needed and was a complete professional for the entire 3 1/2 hours it took.  When all the black, including shading, was done, he suggested I leave it alone & NOT do the color I had originally wanted.  One look at the artwork he'd done and I absolutely agreed--he had shaded it so perfectly and absolutely caught the mood I was going for, any color would just detract from it.  The shop itself looks little dingy & run-down but rest assured, they absolutely adhere to strict cleanliness guidelines.  Again, Jim was extremely professional, incredibly patient, and talented beyond measure.  I can't say enough good things about this place. I've had three tattoos done here, two by Brody, and one by someone who now longer works there.  My wife gets her tattoos done here, my dad got his done, as did my little brother.  It's a cool establishment.  Old school, good people.  Brody and Colleen will talk to you about anything and everything, and it makes your sessions go much faster.  Prices are very good, and the work is incredible.  Brody's color work on my right arm looks nearly brand new after almost seven years!  The family crest on my back, that my entire family has been getting, came out incredibly.The bottom line is that I don't trust anyone else to do my tattoos.  Brody's done great work on me, and Jim has done great work on my wife.  I'd only go to them in the future, and I've passed a lot of business their way through the years because of how great my tattoos look. All of my tattoos have been done by Jim, been pierced here.  Amazing work, very cool people, good price.  I have all black tattoos, but my husband and several of our friends have had extensive color/design work done by Brody and it is magnificent and long lasting.  I highly recommend...they are closed Tuesday.  Walk in Sundays...there is a line wrapped around the block trying to get a slot with Brody, so make sure you get there at the crack of dawn.  If someone wants really expansive work, he could might only be good for 1-2 tattoos that day.
