My sister and I spontaneously visited Mythic Ink to get tattoos for her birthday. Immediately we felt welcomed and comfortable by the staff and the atmosphere. Our artist, Mike (@doublescribbles) could not have been more professional. He took the time to discuss what we wanted and how to get the best possible outcome. He valued his work, took his time, was extremely gentle tattooing and obviously has a deep gift for creating art. I been going to Dave amza for a long time cause we currently have a sleeve in progress. Dude is an amazing artist with amazing attention to detail, and he recently did a cover up on my upper arm which took six hours and im absolutely thrilled with the results. Ive also brought my sister and best friend who had went to azma, trevor and mike.I would recommend this shop its very clean, ran well and Trevor and mike are also extremely great artists. I have gotten my nose, belly button, and nipples pierced by Krystal at Mythic Ink. All of them look stupendous and healed marvelously. I appreciate the hand shake as soon as you walk in the door, the patience throughout the piercing, and how comfortable she makes me feel. Krystal showed me all the dates for the sterile stuff that was going to be used on me and let me choose the jewelry. I found her to be informative, and pleasant. My only complaint is on my most recent visit there, there was fly traps with dead bugs in them. I asked about it and she said it's an "all of a sudden fly problem" and they are working to fix the problem. Her office was clean, and, I will continue to go back there for my piercings. Read Less

Want a piercing?  Go somewhere else.  Amateurs work here.I wanted to get my other tragus pierced. I happened to be in Pitman and decided to stop in at Mythic Ink to see if they could do it and what the price would be. The first thing the piercer, Crystal, said to me was "Omg why is your other tragus piercing infected!?  How long have you had it!?"  Perplexed I said "it's not infected.  I've had it for 5 years.  What do you think you see?"  She says "there's a big red ring around the piercing and it's swollen.  Is that a good piece of jewelry? What material is that?"  Guys, there is no red ring and no swelling.  Its totally normal.  Ok, we're  off to a greeeaaat start After acting like a skeptical know-it-all she asked me what I wanted.  I told her I want exactly what I have in my other tragus, a small surgical steel captive bead ring.  She told me that she can't and won't pierce me with a captive bead ring.  She said she doesn't pierce with captive bead jewelry because she "doesn't believe in it".  She went on to say she's had too many customers in the past whove had issues and were not happy with the piercing or the way it heals.  She said "I'll only pierce with a horseshoe, sorry." And turned me away.WTF?I've never heard such horsesh*t in my life!  If you say to me that you've had MULTIPLE customers in the past who had issues with the way YOU PIERCE with a particular type of jewelry, I doubt it's the customers.  Sounds more like a lack of skills from the piercer.  I didn't get a good vibe from this chick at all and left with a bad taste in my mouth.I am warning people to steer clear of this place for piercings.  I don't think they know they're doing.  Crystal sure as sh*t didn't. My thoughts are that this place is more of a tattoo shop and less a body piercing shop. I have never gotten a tattoo here so I have nothing to say regarding tattoos. However I did get two body piercings here. To start with the smallest size jewelry they had were 14g and I would have preferred 16g but I went ahead with the thought of swapping at a later date. For my septum piercing It ended up being very crooked the piercing went high on the right side meaning if the bottom balls were to be level much more metal would be coming out of one side of the nose and the other side very little metal. It looked very bad so I had to remove it and will get it re-done in philly. I also had another piercing a nipple which was better, it was even and looked good. Read Less
