I did not end up getting any ink from this shop. My previous guy was easy, in that you gave him an idea of what you wanted and then he'd come up with something for approval. Where do I start. Went too many tattoo shops in Southern New Jersey was not happy with all of them. All they could tell me is  what they couldn't do !! Till one day I went to a job and seen a guy with a tattoo on his arm which looked real and I asked him where he got it done and he said DNA Tattooing in  Williamstown . So I made an appointment to go talk to Danny and look at his portfolio. His work look great. So I made an appointment and got my tattoo done and let me tell you his work is A1  quality. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous. I checked out a few other shops and artists and this shop and Dan were highly recommended.  I couldn't agree more.  The shop itself is immaculate and welcoming.  Dan was so patient and helpful.  He answered all my questions and was very friendly and professional.  Dan is an awesome artist.  He takes pride in his work and wants to make his customers happy.  I have already recommended him to a few friends.  My niece recently got a tattoo at another shop (Jersey Devil) and it was poorly done.  It was a basic solid black cross - very easy, and the lines are bleeding.  My niece was so upset.  Dan and his associate looked at the tattoo and assured her that they will fix it for her.  Dan and his shop are terrific.  If reading this, no need to look further if considering getting a tattoo.  This is the place to go. Bottom line is Danny only has the best artist under his roof! Deanna is currently doing my cover up and its already amazing! I went to DNA on the advice of a friend and I am so glad I did. Last night Deanna took my very simple idea, listened to my likes and dislikes and put together something that exceeded my expectations. Good clean shop. Danny is a phenomenal artist. I've had him tattoo me 3 times going back to when he worked in another shop. Glad to see he's got his own place now. There's a long wait because he has a long list of repeat clientele but its worth the wait. They require a deposit to schedule time which is fine for a first time client but I think it's excessive for a multiple time client. That's ok though, what can you do? Read Less

I took my 72 yr old Mother their today for her very first tattoo. Doug Sparks was the artist that we used. He was very professional, friendly, polite and took the time to answer her questions. If you are looking for expert work in a friendly sterile environment, DNA is the place to go. Danny has close to 20 years of tattooing experience, and is amazing. He is friendly and will put you at ease whether it is your first time or your 20th. His work has won many awards and has been featured in reputable tattoo magazines. He is so good that there is a wait to see him, but I promise you it is worth it and it is just a testament to his talent. The shop itself is open, welcoming and most of all sterile (he has worked with NJ health and safety to make sure you are getting hospital like standards).
