I went in a few months ago for the world's simplest tattoo. It's a very small, black outline. The lines are horrendous. I could have done a better job myself. I wish I could go back to have it touched up, but I live abroad, so I'm stuck with it. On my hand. Had Fitz been more attentive to the tattoo he was doing, rather than rambling about whatever, maybe it would be better. Who knows. I have many tattoos this was my first visit here . Let me just say from now on I won't go anywhere else !!! This place is awesome the staff rocks they're super knowledgable they take the time to do it right all the way around . I used fitz and my man was dead on he took something I imagined and took the time to come up with something on the spot draw it up and a few hours later I walked out with best Tatoo ever you can't see any lines it looks like it's painted !!!! I just went to Taboo for my first tattoo. Mookie was my artist. The day before the appt, I sent him the design I wanted along with other ideas to go with it. He drew up and created a beautiful design with his own touches. He was very professional, and very friendly. My tattoo came out better than I could have hoped for! And an added bonus that I discovered was that he only uses vegan products. While I myself am not vegan, I am a big animal lover, so that was a nice surprise. Thank you, Fitz! I had been thinking about my first tattoo for a while, so I went to Taboo late last Saturday night on a whim, based on a recommendation from someone who has 7 tattoos done by Fitz. He was very professional and so nice. He put me at ease laughing about all kinds of stuff with my sister in law and me. She was impressed with his Zuni fetish doll, he was impressed that she knew what it was. Mooki is a class act guy with amazing art work with a great attitude. I knew from first meeting him that he was my new guy due to a new move. He met all of my expectations and then some. You can tell he loves his craft. Go to the shop and check out some of his sick detailed comic art work that is published in comics repeatedly I met this guy twice and can't say enough about his work. I got tattooed today by fitz he gave me 2 doves and clouds around my mothers name a fairly big piece, and not only was it a good price it was a great job and he gave me exactly what i wanted. i think he is going to be my tattoo artist for good. def go get one from him . Read Less

I have been getting tattooed since I was 18, Fitz has personally done all of my work, from quotes to portraits I know that I will be leaving that shop a happy customer, its so clean and thorough, he (as well as the other lovely artists mookie and perky) always make me feel comfortable, they work down to every last detail and honestly put their all into their craft....I recently moved to FL and its been over a year since I've gotten a tattoo because I always go to one shop..Taboo...thank you for all the art, the laughs, and the memories...this place is the best by far.. Unprofessional and dishonorable business. I had gotten a gift certificate for christmas to be used on one specific artist there. It was purchased on 12/21/10. Since that date I had an appt. on the 27th (the big snow storm) which was cancelled. I tried to reschedule and found the artist was fired! I asked for a refund on my gift certificate and was denied. they attempted to compromise - I was offered ink by the two remaining artists who I don't want and they made me feel pressured into letting them do my work. I paid in advance for a service they cannot provide. I want my money back! Read Less
