Found Holey Moley by accident; about two years ago I attended the tattoo convention in the Secaucus convention center and browsed the main page for an artist that fit my needs. My previous artist was not very skilled, he was quite forgetful, and the shop was very far away. So, I was on the hunt for a more local joint with quality artists. Anyway after reading bios I found Sylvia (Susie Tatusie) to have a similar imagination as me and was very versatile and creative. At the tattoo convention where I met Susie for the first time I found her to be very polite, friendly, accommodating, professional, and reasonable. Danny the piercer is equally similar all around. She tattooed a sugar skull on my right inner bicep, and a wrath symbol on the back of my right arm. Overall, it took about three or so hours and with the ink machine in her hands there was hardly any pain to be felt. Last year Susie tattooed a castle scene on my left arm and touched up my outdated dragon tattoo. The session took a bit over six hours, but I sat for one session. Still, her soft handed technique made it tolerable to nearly enjoyable. I am working on going back to finish the half sleeve in the near future. The shop is kind of small and seating is limited, but the shop is very clean just like the artists are. Even though Susie can take credit card you're better off paying with cash. Also, her price points are extremely competitive, and with her imagination, creativity, and skills you will be hard pressed to find a better artist for the price. Appointments are probably your best bet as she is quite busy, but she can make time for walk ins. At this point, I have found my go to tattoo artist and have planned quite a few more tattoos to get by Susie.Central avenue in Jersey City is extremely busy, there are restaurants and shops up and down so parking will be at a premium.
