I was quite nervous about this experience, as it was my very first tattoo. I went for an initial consult because a friend had been there and highly recommended them. I was blown away by how clean, and beautiful the place was and how friendly the staff was. I got an appointment for the very next day. I went to Joe with a "so and so" tattoo to add a piece to it and shade it darker. It's one of those black-grey shade ones. When it was done, I was soooo happy with his work. I went to Joe Dillon for the first time yesterday. This is my third tattoo. I was impressed on how clean the place was. The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable. I came here recently to get my hip tattooed which was also close to another tattoo I already have and I was worried about the placement of getting my hip tattoo done. I showed Joe a picture of the design I wanted and the design he drew up was absolutely beautiful. He also made sure that it was placed exactly where I wanted it to be and it flowed with my body along with my other tattoo. He did a very good job and made me feel comfortable. Joe D. has the patience of a saint. I'm very meticulous and a perfectionist. He made me feel very comfortable, took his time and was super nice. Not once did he make me feel like I was wasting his time or being a pain in the ass, which I probably was. LOL... My daughter went in for a quote and was given one based on picture she had. When we went for the tattoo he refused to make it the size she wanted in the picture. Said he wouldn't compromise his artist talent by making it that size. It was a decent size request. Of course my 18 year old daughter at that point just wanted it. Seems like he just wanted to charge more for the bigger size then was quoted which of course he did. Won't be back. Read Less

My artist, Gabriele (Hellcat), was very thorough & professional with all the information prior to beginning the work & after my cover up was completed she made sure I understood the aftercare instructions & encouraged me to call her if I had any questions. I healed within days, no complications. Gab is amazingly talented, worked with me on custom design, colors, etc... & I will definitely be returning to Simply Ink Tattoo.
