two friends recommended this place for piercings. it's very clean and staff is so nice, they're also funny so it makes you feel more comfortable. i went for nipple piercings yesterday and jessie did them. it was very quick and hardly any pain! by the time she cleaned them and drew the markings, i was out of there within 20 minutes. and the piercing itself only took about 7 seconds for each one by the time she switched the needle out with jewelry. highly recommend this place and the prices are definitely reasonable :) i needed a place that was in my range- but not too cheap to the point where i'd be skeeved out and end up leaving with an infection. this place is definitely not that LOL thank you jessie and jerzey ink! Yesterday, JESSIE tattooed an American traditional panther head with a skull on my shoulder. I have to say, her work is nothing short of AMAZING! Such a great experience here. Stopped in Friday night randomly so that my fiancé can get a fish tattoo. First, walking in the shop is super clean and everyone is really friendly. Started talking to Jessie about the idea and what he was looking for and she jumped right into action. She gave us a few ideas and we then collaborated an idea that worked for everyone. A true artist, she cares about your ideas and bringing them to reality . She listens and gives advice while respecting your vision- and best of all- SHE IS VERY PATIENT. I first met Jessie at the Westchester County Tattoo Convention in NY. She did a beautiful poppy tattoo on my forearm that always gets complimented. Therefore when I decided I wanted a peonies tattoo, Jessie came to mind. She is really talented. I am thoroughly amazed at the precision to detail and her delicate line work. I’m a loyal canvas to Jess at Jerzey Ink, now my husband is too. This review is for the masterpiece he received by the master herself… JESS! Please Please Please look at the photo’s I attached. My husband’s tattoo was nearly 20 years old. It used to be an alligator walking on skulls (I know your saying that picture doesn’t show that lol). My husband is African American with medium brown complexion. So, she had her work cut out for her. You cannot see the original tattoo AT ALL. Plus, SHUT UP if his tattoo isn’t the most amazing work of art. The details… THE DETAILS!!! I knew she would do a great job but the end result was so much more then he/we could have ever imagined. I really hate to be "that person" but here we go. I got my first tattoo here when i first turned 16. It was a semi colon only a little bigger than a quarter. I paid the $120 + tip and went on with my day. It started healing weird and i knew it wasn't my fault, i was as careful as possible. I got a few tattoos months later and they told me that the ink didn't go far enough into my skin. It looked like i got it in someones garage, it was so terrible. For such a small simple tattoo, I'd have much higher expectations. Luckily i got it covered up recently. I'd recommend going to rock city in Belleville. Here they're overpriced and you might just end up with a god awful colorful scar. Read Less

Went to Jerzey Ink a couple weeks ago for my 3rd tattoo, and Jesse was my artist. Jesse: Cannot say enough fabulous things about her. She did exactly what we wanted and made some expert recommendations which worked out great. Not only is her work awesome, her personality is outgoing and funny. Foot tattoos are well…a bit painful. We laughed and joked around from the minute we walked in. This was a “friends” tattoo that I got with my friend of many many years and I brought my husband for the ride so he could check out new ink possibilities too. He laughed his behind off right along with us. He liked her so much he’ll be back for a cover-up over the next few months. The shop: SPOTLESS and inviting. They even put some country music on for us (we’re country fans). The price: About average – if you want a super cheap tattoo then get a sharpie :-) Additional note: The manager George. Jess has been doing my tattoos and piercings since I turned 18. I have eight tattoos in total, two of which I didn't get done by her and regret that I didn't. She has done all of my work for me, even touched up/corrected the two that she didn't do. She is the best there is!! I travel about forty-five minutes to get to the shop, but the drive is totally worth it. The shop is super clean, the other staff members are really chill, tattoo work/piercings are priced fairly, and ple...nty of parking is made available. If you're looking to get work done, big or small, go in and ask for Jess. I promise, you won't regret it. She's the best out there!! I never had an issue with my piercings or tattoos healing!
