Moerder Tattoos, owned by Sue Moerder, is a custom tattoo shop that is warm and inviting - clean and safe. Appt only Tues + Thurs thru Sat 12-9, Walk-Ins welcome on Wed 12-9. Street parking is available on Woodman or Grande St. The hourly rate for tattooing is $150 an hr + tax w/ a $60 min.

Had a beautiful tattoo done here. So did my mother a double mastectomy cancer survivor. Her people skills are lacking however. When a client explains that they haven't been able to come in due to the death of their grandchild you surely don't tell them we have all had experience with death and that they are a rude bitch or refuse to finish the tattoo yet post today how she stole $3000 of your work. I'll spare sharing the hateful message she sent . But it is a testament to the unprofessional nature of its owner

I have several tattoos from different artists over the last 25 years and Moerder Tattoos has been my hands -down best experience. Sue, the owner and artist, is a combination of superior artistry and technical skill. The shop is spotless, without being unpleasantly sterile, and in fact is a really cool and inviting space, with fun decorations and original art work everywhere. I traveled a few hours (and past many other shops), to have Sue do my pieces. More than worth the... time. Her work is excellent, competitively priced, efficiently delivered and beautiful. I've had other people claim to have a 'light touch' and Sue is one of the only artists I've worked with where that was actually true. Whether you're new to tattoos or a veteran, looking for a small piece, a large work, graywash, color, lettering, whatever, I cannot recommend this shop enough. So Friday night I saw sue had a cancellation for the following day from 12-3. Saturday morning I was finished running errands and figured I'd stop over just for a consult and to book an appointment. I walked in, showed her what I wanted and she said "I can do that right now. Wanna do it now?" I thought why not?! This has to be fate....especially being my first tattoo. She was extremely professional, friendly, and her shop is so awesome on the inside. So much to look at and ad...mire. I love the personal touches and how CLEAN it was in there...even in the bathroom. I've been researching artists for a little over a year and I'm so happy I went with Sue and really recommend her. She wasn't digging into my skin when she was tattooing me, explained the after care process thoroughly, and even gave me a cup of goodies to take home with me. My first tattoo experience with Sue was awesome and I already am planning my next one. Thank you so much! See More

Scott is a great guy who takes an enormous amount of pride and professionalism in all of his work. If you have an idea and need little direction, consult with him and he can make you a masterpiece. Besides Scott, Moerder also features artist Lexi and Nicole who are amazing at their craft too. Along with Artist and shop owner Sue, these four make Moerder into what a tattoo shop should be like... a place with good vibes, amazing artist, great conversations and great tattoos. People who compliment me on my tattoos or friends are who i tell to take the time to visit this shop and see what these four can do for you. each one of them have their own technique and style that can cater to any type of person and their ideas.. you would NOT leave disappointed. you won't only leave with a new tattoo but friends also. The Shop is also very clean which is important. They also offer giftcards and accept credit cards...definitely an added bonus!.. Client for life!
