I went to this establishment seeking to cover up a couple of old tattoos on my upper arms.  I spoke with the owner Antonio, who assessed the project and recommended Abel, one of his tattoo artists.Abel was phenomenal! I've been to the Bergenline shop several times in the past and always paid for full sessions. Sadly, TWO sessions that I paid for came out horribly, by two different artists; with tip that's $1100 worth of ink that I had paid that I have to have redone. Antonio ruined my sleeve. He tried to change the original outline of the cross, you can see where he changed the bottom of it. Also, he spent such a long time on my inner arm, a place I couldn't see as he worked on it. It was painful and he spent so much time there, I thought he was putting in a lot of details for the clouds that I asked for to blend in with the rest of my sleeve. After my arm finally healed and I could see what had been done, there were no clouds done, just a bunch of very dark circles that look like splotches where he colored over and over until he used up enough time to charge me for a full session. And to top things off, he colored into the lines of some of my other tattoos ruining them and the ink for most of his work is so much darker than the rest of my arm so that now only the mistakes are what stand out. This tattoo parlor has some really talented and professional artists.  The place itself is very clean and the environment is friendly.  I have a large tattoo that needed work and Alberto did a great job.  I went back for two more tattoos and Abel did them for me.  He was great, and worked very hard to make my experience pleasant (not painful).  There's only one reason why I am giving a 3 star review... it's the quality of the colored ink that could be better.  It fades quickly and around the edges of my color tattoos the color bled a little bit.  I don't think it's the artists fault.  I think that the artists do their best so the actual shop owner should really look into switching the brand of ink that they purchase. This place looked really clean/professional  and my friend had previously gotten a tattoo here and it looked beautiful. My piece was a simple verse and some letters faded within the first week. I was a little upset because tattoos are not suppose to fade that fast. Read Less

Tattoo came out horrible, felt like I was practiced on. After it healed it looked extremely faded for only having it for 2 weeks. I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and re-shaded in. I recommend asking to see there previous tattoo work before getting tattooed by any artist there. Read Less
