I'll give them 1 star because of the decor and location. The other stars I can't give for lack of customer service. I understand a walk in tattoo might not be something that can happen immediately, however communicating the eligibility of getting one would have been appreciated. I walked in at  6:30 and was told that one artist would be available to take me in an hour (7:30). So my friend and I left, came back around 7:25, and my artist was still with another client; perfectly acceptable. We sat patiently in the waiting area, with full view of action in the shop.  As 20 minutes passed, my friend asked another (sitting) artist, possibly the owner, if there was anyone else able to do some Roman numeral work on me. He told us to hang a sec, spoke with the gent who was meant to take me, not entirely positive but his name might be Daniel. We waited for a response as we watched 3 other artist aimlessly walk around the shop. Finally *said gent* came over and told us 10 more minutes. COOL. 20 more minutes passes and we were approached and asked if we had been informed on what was going on. He kind of took initiative to talk with us so MAYBE he was the owner, who knows. All we know is even when he went to speak with Daniel, he was hesitant to come back to check in with us. We saw the client Daniel was with SEEMED to be finished, but unfortunately homegirl wanted to add some more to her tatt. We sat and watched while he added some extra to her wrist with a pen. ALSO FINE. Sadly, no one came over to us to let us know it would be longer than 10 minutes (which had already played out to about 30 minutes). Ended up walking out and the possible owner checked us leaving without a word. Probably not going back considering if we were valued, we would have been kept up to date on when I would have been able to be tatted. NYCE .....you guys are amazing. I did to very sentimental tats there and my first tat I cried when it was done. Each obstacle in my life that I conquer I will place a tat on my body till I'm so inked out lol. Galo , Eric,and Daniel you guys are beyond amazing talented. Galo ,did my first tat and Eric did my second. Daniel did my girlfriends and her man and I recommended them and they were beyond happy that I was happy they got exactly what they wanted. If you want quality work done go see Galo at NYCE TATTOOS. This shop also has other talented artists and does piercings as well. Not to mention it doesn't feel like your typical tattoo shop when you are in there, very nice setting and overall great experience. Keep up the great work.Read Less

Galo Balseca is the only tattoo artist I personally go to and I have referred my family and friends as well.
