Ron tattoos incredibly too hard and my tattoo years later is still raised from my skin. at the time I thought all tattoos were like that until I became an apprentice and started learning these things for myself. hes also very rude he was supposed to tattoo a design I did on my mothers back and instead went online a goggled outlines of the dragon fly and other insects and tattooed them on her instead of turning down the tattoo which I would have preffered being as how this is on her forever but unfortunately I was not there to protest at the time of the incident. also kevin tattooed a small flamingo on my friend and I it was supposed to be pink but he didn't mix the colors properly and regardless it faded away Read Less

I have a shoulder piece that was done by Kevin. I could not be happier with the whole experience. He was great about taking the time to hand draw a bunch of awesome sketches of what I wanted. Even letting me take some home with me before starting the tattoo, to give me time to decide which one I liked best. This is the best place to go for tattoos, I wish I got my other tattoos done there. And a few of my friends also got their tattoos done there and were also very happy with the work. It's a small shop, but they have a GREAT selection of art, they are VERY, VERY, clean and they make sure that they show u all their tools are either BRAND NEW, or just cleaned. If you dont wanna waste your money, dont go here honestly. I got a piercing done here that i was told only $50, but it wasnt until i left the place that they actually charged me $54! Plus my piercing was done with the wrong jewlery soo yeah. And They were soooo rude, I was trying to ask one of the guys a question and he saw me standing there for minutes and stillll continued his conversation with the other guy completely ignoring me. So unprofessional. I mean the place is a upstairs arpartment studio Skettchy. But overall i hated the service!!! & i will be getting my tattoo that i got from there covered!! My friend brought a picture of a tattoo in and Kevin said he can do the exact same tattoo. Well, the tattoo he did and the pic look nothing like each other. Nothing. Infact, the tattoo Kevin did looks amateurish compared the the unknown internet tattoo artist who did an amazing job. You can definitely see the difference between a lower quality work (Kevin at Rons tattoo) compared to a higher one (unknown internet artist). Don't get me wrong, the tattoo was nice,  it just didn't represent quality work like it should have. So my friend has plans to have another artist work on the piece to improve it. Read Less

This place does horrible tattoos. Not only does the place do horrible tattoos, but the place looks sketchy. It's an apartment with no doors. You are right on top of each other and there is no privacy. I would not recommend this place to anyone Read Less

Let me start off by saying that I have 7 tattoos. Before I got my first one almost 6 years ago, I researched everything -- location, artists, past experiences of friends, etc.. I found Ron's and went to physically check the place out. At first, it seems sketchy because it's on top of another store, and it's a bit small compared to other tattoo shops that have their on real estate to expand upon.When you walk in, you see how truly small it is (especially being a taller person), but the entire place has flash all over. Different designs, fonts, genre's and prices. The best thing about Ron is his pricing and work.I have not paid more than $200 for ANY of my work (some which has extensive coloring), and the quality is flawless. Ron and his son both do work on customers, so it's a family business and well-run at that. He's not someone who's going to start conversation with you during your work, and isn't ALL that friendly, but he's a very nice guy nontheless -- he's just someone who doesn't want to BS while he's doing his trade...no harm, no foul.His pricing cannot be beat. I've seen some tattoos on people that paid over $400 for the exact same quality of work Ron could have done for half the price. PEOPLE PAY FOR THE NAME OF THE SHOP, NOT THE QUALITY OF WORK. It's a shame people don't realize that, but I won't complain because I have gotten all of my work done by Ron, and will continue to go to him for all of my ink needs. Read Less
