Best experience I've had in a tattoo shop. I've been getting tattooed since I was 15 and hands down Inner City is the best shop I've been to. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I would never recommend this place to anyone. I called ahead of time for a vertical labret lip piercing. They told me I would wait thirty minutes. I waited over an hour and finally when I said something they pierced me. He was extremely rude and pierced my lip with the wrong jewelry because they didn't have a curved bar because it's "not a common piercing" and it was crooked. You knew when I came into the shop before I waited an hour that you didn't have the proper jewelry. I immediately went to another shop to get it removed and cleaned up and looked at. I called and asked for a refund he said no because he gave me the option. I feel as tho as a professional piercer you know what is right and what is wrong. Literally THE BEST business I've been too! Like finding the right hair person, I've found the perfect tattoo person. Kim took great care of me and I did not flinch once while getting my wrist tattoo! Kim was super cool. I came in with a drawing that I did combining a few references and she redraw it all polished and wonderful and made sure it was exactly what I wanted every step of the way. Got the tattoo on the back of my neck and it definitely wasn't fun but she's very good and definitely spared pain that I would've dealt with if I went anywhere else. My tattoo came out awesome and she was tons of fun to deal with. Would definitely go back again next time I'm in town just to get tattooed by her! Read Less

Have you ever walked into a tattoo shop and felt like you weren't welcome?   Have you ever been treated like crap and made to feel like the work you were looking to get wasn't worth their time?   If so?  This is not that type of shop.  EVERYONE that I encountered was friendly, funny and gave the shop and awesome atmosphere. My design wasn't scoffed at, actually?  Al told me this style wasn't his strong point and that I should see Jay the following day. I appreciate anyone who can realize their strengths and recognize the strengths of his coworkers. I felt as though all involved wanted me to have THE BEST artwork/tattoo and I appreciate the fact that no egos got in the way of that.  The tattoo I got was well designed, executed perfectly and in a manner that made me feel like a priority (instead of an interloper). They are very reasonably priced (especially for the quality of their work) and will continue to get my business. I'm so excited to have found such an awesome and amazing shop, with equally awesome artists and such a welcoming atmosphere so close to home!!  Thank you to EVERYONE at Innercity Tattoo for making the shop and the tattooing experience so awesome.  As a final note, I should add that I HATE GETTING TATTOOS!  But I sure do love having them and collecting them.
