Each shop is open 7 days a week and always fully staffed. Each artist has his own schedule though so it would be best to call and make sure your artist will be in when you plan on stopping by. Piercing is available every day as well.

Professional and hygenic. Talented and courteous! We have been there more than once and will always go back (more tattoos planned) -went in late one night on a whim and Kam took care of my daughter and I, he totally could have said no and tried to schedule us for another time, but he didn't and we appreciate that. His sanitary practice between each client is pristine and reassuring that he has saftey in mind, and does not cut corners. Shows he has resepect for the art and for the customer and himself! Absolutely has skills in shading and honors the details that make tattoos unique. I also value the certification/permission process that is consistently adhered to as my daughter is under 18. We have referred multiple customers and will continue to do so, specifically to Kam! (Great establishment!)

I see a mix of opinions posted here. I too noticed a couple men that could of cared less when my friend and i entered. However, my artist took my idea and made it into a reality in minutes. His attention to the sterile procedure was better then hospital quality, and i have worked in emergency medicine my entire life. The people treat you with the same respect you show them, and i could not be happier with the quality of the artwork tattooed on my arm. 5 stars, highly recommend this place. 2 customers, 2 artists that did 2 tattoos we are both happy with, healed amazingly fast, caused little to no pain, and they have earned my business. I've had piercings & tattoos done here. Empire is the only place I will trust to help me design and execute the tattoos I want. I've had a cover up done and was very satisfied. I've been a walk in plenty of times and have never had a problem getting new ink done that day. Every time someone compliments my tattoos and asks where I get them done I never hesitate to recommend Empire Tattoo in Clementon, NJ. I have a dermal piercing on my cheek bone that I need removed for a medical procedure. I had it done here and totally trust them to remove it successfully. I need two back surgeries to be done in the next twelve months & when the scar tissue has healed enough I plan on coming here to invest in a full back piece. Looking forward to working with your very talented artists once again .....

I've heard discussions and have had discussions with numerous people and always get the same remarks. If I could give this place 0Stars, I would. When you first come in, all of the artists are stare at you like “How dare a client come in here?”. When I got my navel pierced, the piercer handed my a bottle of piercing cleaner, and said “have a nice day.” No care instructions whatsoever. When I came back the week after to tell him that my piercing look like it wasn’t healing, he SCOLDED ME and told me that I shouldn’t have used the piercing cleaner, I should have used antibacterial soap. Their tattoo work is always mediocre at best, and they really only seem to keep open with the money from kids getting their first tattoo that don’t know the difference between good and bad work. Avoid at all costs!

I had gotten snake eyes done at another establishment (empire doesn't do snake eyes) and the jewelry used was too small, my tongue had started to swallow the balls, it was so painful, but the piercing artist at Empire had taken the time to evaluate and see if they had any jewelry that would help even though they don't do the piercing I had gotten there. Awesome, friendly and accommodating. Will recommend all my friends. I didn't catch the artists name but he had spiderbites.

I went in with a design in mind for a later date, someone helped me out with picking an artist they thought would be great for what I was looking for, and I got a little group of stars done on my wrist. Rube was so great, that my sisters felt like they were ready for their first tattoos. So now we have cute little stars, moon, and sun sister tats. We love them, but they don’t do justice to the range of quality work I’m sure Rube is accustomed to. But our experience was great with him and the rest of the staff. The place is clean, and we would definitely come back for more and recommend to friends!

Never actually saw or talked to an artist. The front desk staff was very unorganized and had no useful knowledge to offer. Again do not go here!

Went to get a tattoo with my two friends and first was told it would be a 45 min wait. When I showed the front desk assistant they told me that my simple tattoo design had to be 10x bigger and never got to see an artist to ask them or see their opinion. So I said no to mine. We waited 2.5 hours to get told no to the second friends ratio of a simple band around his calf. And the front desk staff was the only one talking to us! NEVER talked to an artist for any of the tattoos!!! DO NOT GO HERE!

Said we didn't really need one if we were planning to come at 2 on Wednesday. When we got there, there was an hour and a half wait. We left. They might do decent tattoos. I don't know. But they seriously lack in basic customer service skills.

The guys who pierce are also great. I've gotten my nose, eyebrow, and nipples done. Every experience here is a pleasure!

We were greeted right away and in 20 mins I was sitting in a chair ready to get my tattoo. Lucky for us, Moge has a cancellation and he was open for the day because he did a great job! We got simple feather and it came out fucking perfect! I may or may not have passed out like a little girl but Moge took great care of me and knew what to do. HAHA! THanks dude! I'm pumped to work with this guy in the future!! We found a gem and couldn't be happier!!

The last 2 sessions with Wayne were nothing but smooth, I have 2 pieces by him now and plan on getting more done this year so I can finally finish my sleeve and then start my right arm. I can't recommend him enough, super nice guy and one of the best out there. He did my left bicep this past weekend and it turned out better than I had expected. It just flows so evenly with the cover up he did on me. Perfect is an understatement. He's definitely going to be the guy that I'll go to. Empire is by far one of the best in the area, I could tell that just by seeing the art work you guys have on the walls. When I saw that, I knew I had walked into the right place. I've been to many shops, but Empire is definitely my shop of choice. Thanks!!!!

My friend and I got simple matching tattoos. I had one done on my ribs the day prior at my normal place the decided to go here for our quick ones. The guy used so much pressure that a tat on my butt cheek hurts 10 times worse than my ribs did. I bled and was swollen for a week. Also my friend got hers before mine and we were asked to leave the room when he sanitized. I never saw new needles get opened.

I went in with a design in mind for a later date, someone helped me out with picking an artist they thought would be great for what I was looking for, and I got a little group of stars done on my wrist. Rube was so great, that my sisters felt like they were ready for their first tattoos. So now we have cute little stars, moon, and sun sister tats. We love them, but they don’t do justice to the range of quality work I’m sure Rube is accustomed to. But our experience was great with him and the rest of the staff. The place is clean, and we would definitely come back for more and recommend to friends!

Came in with my friend so we could get her first tattoo. Was told that an artist would be with me in 45min and waited almost two hours for them to tell me that they "don't want to do that design". Never actually saw or talked to an artist. The front desk staff was very unorganized and had no useful knowledge to offer. Again do not go here!

Went to get a tattoo with my two friends and first was told it would be a 45 min wait. When I showed the front desk assistant they told me that my simple tattoo design had to be 10x bigger and never got to see an artist to ask them or see their opinion. So I said no to mine. We waited 2.5 hours to get told no to the second friends ratio of a simple band around his calf. And the front desk staff was the only one talking to us! NEVER talked to an artist for any of the tattoos!!! DO NOT GO HERE!

I called to make an appointment days before the day we planned to go here to get memorial tattoos. Guy on the phone seemed surprised I'd ask for an appointment. Said we didn't really need one if we were planning to come at 2 on Wednesday. When we got there, there was an hour and a half wait. We left. They might do decent tattoos. I don't know. But they seriously lack in basic customer service skills.

The art maybe good but the service is less than par. I was a return customer. I will not be returning. It is not worth the hassle and harassment. Went to Explosive in Delaware. Very pleased.

He did an amazing cover up on my wrist, the original was terrible but now it's so beautiful I get compliments almost daily! Just had a 2nd piece done by him n it brought tears to my eyes. The guys who pierce are also great. I've gotten my nose, eyebrow, and nipples done. Every experience here is a pleasure!

Popped in on a Friday night with my girlfriend to get matching tattoos on a whim! Now knowing what to expect we walked in to a very clean friendly atmosphere! We were greeted right away and in 20 mins I was sitting in a chair ready to get my tattoo. Lucky for us, Moge has a cancellation and he was open for the day because he did a great job! We got simple feather and it came out fucking perfect! I may or may not have passed out like a little girl but Moge took great care of me and knew what to do. HAHA! THanks dude! I'm pumped to work with this guy in the future!! We found a gem and couldn't be happier!!

The last 2 sessions with Wayne were nothing but smooth, I have 2 pieces by him now and plan on getting more done this year so I can finally finish my sleeve and then start my right arm. I can't recommend him enough, super nice guy and one of the best out there. He did my left bicep this past weekend and it turned out better than I had expected. It just flows so evenly with the cover up he did on me. Perfect is an understatement. He's definitely going to be the guy that I'll go to. Empire is by far one of the best in the area, I could tell that just by seeing the art work you guys have on the walls. When I saw that, I knew I had walked into the right place. I've been to many shops, but Empire is definitely my shop of choice. Thanks!!!!

My friend and I got simple matching tattoos. I had one done on my ribs the day prior at my normal place the decided to go here for our quick ones. The guy used so much pressure that a tat on my butt cheek hurts 10 times worse than my ribs did. I bled and was swollen for a week. Also my friend got hers before mine and we were asked to leave the room when he sanitized. I never saw new needles get opened.
