If you are looking for the best tattoo artist in New Jersey (and beyond) look no further. I reached out to fonz with hopes someone could fix a nightmare on my back. I had a "sun" tattoo on my back I was dying to get rid of and couldn't stand to look in the mirror anymore. He assured me it would be a tough project, but definitely possible. He was excited to take on the challenge and didn't make me feel insecure. I drove 3 hours there and back, for 3 separate sessions, and sat 15 hours total with him. Holy cow was it painful, being on my back ribs- but he helped me prepare, gave me numbing cam and told me the proper steps to take. He listened to my concerns and made sure I was okay the entire time. You can't even tell the masterpiece on my back is a cover up. He brought my vision to life better than anyone else could have. Not to mention, he is extremely fair priced. I would trust Fonz with any tattoo project and would recommend him a million times over. What can i say, Fonz is a bad ass tattoo artist. the shop is located in a nice, calm town w parking right around the corner as well as in front of the shop. the shop itself is clean, feels fresh, and well kept with maintenance and has a pretty bad ass view of the water through the back.when it was time to get tatted, i got my first tattoo by him in what some might consider a painful area but we got through it. kept checking in on me and what probably couldve been a painful experience turned into an enjoyable journey w the end result being nothing short of amazing. i told him what i was looking for and let him work his creativity and color scheme and recommendations. it all came together great. the tattoo healed beautifully. smooth and solid work on the lines and colors and shading. being a kinda big piece, i was a little worried some spots wouldnt heal properly or some spots would need a touch up but NOT the case w fonz. he DEF knows what hes doing.i live over 2 hours away and it was well worth the drive for those sessions. i recommend him to everyone i know. cool down to earth guy and amazing artist who takes pride in his work.
