Went here to get my septum pierced, the whole thing went pretty smoothly. The place was clean which made me feel relieved as I walked in. Chris is funny but very professional when it comes to the piercing. He walked me step by step and afterwards when my tears were running down my face, he made sure to wipe them away. I had to post a review about my AMAZING experience. First off I was so scared to get the piercing I wanted (nipples) and I was contemplating where to go until I came across this spot on yelp. I decided to go and was immediately greeted by Chris whom also did my piercings. He was SO nice, comforting, welcoming and professional. My boyfriend and I got up one Tuesday and decided that we wanted to get tattoos, which was very short notice. We bounced around ideas for about an hour and then went in search of a decent shop in the area. The great reviews on Yelp brought us to tattoo garage, owned by Chris. We walked in around two in the afternoon and we were out by four, both of us newly tatted. We were worked on by Chris personally, and it was a really great experience. He was able to draw out everything the way that we wanted, and it came out great. Everything was very clean and it was a friendly environment. I went in for a nose piercing on Friday evening. The owner, Chris, was very pleasant and had a great sense of humor. He walked me through the steps of the piercing and really made me feel more at ease. The place was clean and he used all new sterilized tools to do the piercing. He really seems to be a pro at piercings, he took his time but was efficient so I wasn't in any extra pain. AND he was even kind enough to (carefully so as not to ruin my makeup) wipe away the tear that was slowly trickling down when he did the piercing. I've been getting my piercings here since high school. Chris is amazing. I got my nipple repierced by him 6 months ago after going to another shop to get them done b.c Chris's shop was closed the night I thought of getting them. BIG MISTAKE. Chris advised me to removed them b.c the piercer at another place pierced my nipples to small causing the balls to go into the holes. A month later I went to Chris to pierce my nipples (where I should have gone the first time) I just called him as I nicked my nipple a few days ago and he talked.me through how to care for it and calmed my nerves. This is a great shop with very helpful workers and relaxed environment. I've been in this shop randomly for about 5 years for their selection of jewelry. The only reason this shop didn't receive five stars from me is because of one of their workers. I do not know his name but he is an older gentleman with glasses. Every time he is behind the counter I feel belittled and talked down to. He is a very pretentious man. He is very knowledgeable in his field but seems to brag about that more than actually doing his job correctly. I've wasted about 30$ on jewelry from him specifically because he always gives me the wrong size. He always gives me 18G when i specifically ask for 16G and as a result my septum piercing has reduced in size and I am forced to wear 18G. Really annoying. If he wasn't spending all his time bragging about his knowledge of the tattoo and piercing industry, I'd b a happy camper. Costumers shouldn't feel intimidated or belittled whatsoever. I have a feeling it's because I look like I'm 18 even though I'm 24. However this is not an excuse. A costumer is a costumer. Other people who work here are sweethearts and keep me coming back. I had an appointment with Arnie. He was great. He came in on off hours because it was more convenient for me, and he was really professional without being standoffish. Really sweet guy with a lot of talent. He finished a pretty decent sized, one color script piece on my arm in about an hour. He kept checking in with me to make sure I was okay the whole time and said if anything happens and I need it touched up in the next couple of weeks to just come in and he would take care of it.
