Got attitude after I didn't want to pick from a book. was welcomed by a cool guy named Diamond . after listening to my ideas we went online found some pics and he came up with a cool design. very pleased with the results . Jeff did my friends and my tattoos of a simple scissor, we sat in the tattoo shop for more than 5 hours. It took him an hour to just draw the small scissor. Then after he drew it, it took 30 minutes for him to set up. I went first and it took about 25 minutes which was reasonable. My lines are very jagged and not straight at all. All of our tattoos look different and the lines are awful and thick in some areas, they were supposed to be matching tattoos. After I was finished he disappeared for an hour in the basement and came back after he was done to do the second girls. He was nodding out and looked as if he was on drugs, I was honestly scared to continue with the tattoo. He kept disappearing and it was ridiculous for sitting there for 5 hours for a small tattoo!! Ridiculous experience. I went in with my sister to get three ear piercings. The place was old, dirty and very dingy. It smelled bad. The man was terribly rude and possibly nuts. Made markings on my ear and when my sister stood up to look, he said "sit down. Please sit down!" Next, he said "I didn't say to look. Ill tell you when to look." Then when the markings were ready, my sister and I looked and agreed the bottom marking was too high and when she showed him for me, she to...uched the marking and he got extremely disrespectful. He was angry that she touched it and spoke like a disgruntled old grouch. She warned him he was going to lose the sale. He told her to wait outside! She said maybe we should just leave and he agreed and said "yeah, just leave." We did and I took my consent form with my license photocopy which then got him livid. The shop was clean and reasonably priced for the work I had done. Sandy had a great personality and very knowledgable about her work. Been going to Eds since i turned eighteen. Only place i will go for my tattoos. Sandy has done me and my wife every piece except one which she is now covering cause it was done in a kitchen. Her attention to detail and making it as comforting of an experience as possible and very steady and beautiful work. I found these folks after a review of the Salem NH shops and really liked Mark and his portfolio.  After I met him I brought my girlfriend along.  We created a custom Celtic Knot and I had it put on my calf and she had it put on her wrist.  They came out great and Mark was fantastic throughout the whole process.One of the many things we liked (aside from the great final artwork) was that there was no "tattoo snobbery" here.  You could be covered in tattoos or have none and they treat you great.  A number of shops we visited really had an attitude if you weren't getting a large back back piece or sleeve.  It's funny how so many folks with ink whine about being judged and then judge others who come into their shop for a small or medium sized tattoo :)  funny hipsters :)We loved Ed's and will be back.  Quality of art and skill comes first for us but the experience should be great too. NEVER NEVER NEVER get dermal piercings here!!!! I got my back dimples pierced here about 10 months ago and they've been nothing but trouble. It started off that they were feeling loose, so I went in to have them checked. The artist assured me they were fine and that there was nothing to worry about. The next day one of the beads fell off the anchor. I called back about coming in to get it put back on and the artist agreedto see me. When I arrived there I was Informed that the artist I had spoken to wasn't there and wouldn't be there for 3 days. It was then that I went to masterpiece tattoo right down the street and here they informed me that the PERMANENT anchors they had put in at this place were too small to be put in skin on the back area and that i would consistently find problems with them. He turned out to be 100% correctBecause the beads have fallen out three times since then and one of the gems fell out of the cheap ass jewelry they put in me so it had to be replaced. My friend who also got hers done here had to get hers cut out of her back bc they were put in sideways and ended up rejecting. Long story short this place sucks and they jip you. i've gotten all but one of my piercings here. i'll admit it, it looks a bit sketch. but the guys here know what they're doing. it's clean and you'll get what you want. i've never had a problem with any of my peircings. i've even passed out while getting my traguses done and they were really great about it. as far as tattoos go, if you want to get something off the wall, a basic flower, chinese symbol, or butterfly, this place is perfect for that. they'll do a good job and you'll get a much better deal than at masterpiece down the street for the same thing.  if you want something more elaborate, i'd send you to redemption tattoos in cambridge.
