APBA is Hands down one of the cleanest and knowledgable shops in the area. Remember people, you get what you pay for... And when it comes to body mods or tattoos, this is something you should never try to bargain shop for as this is somethings that will likely on you for life. I finally got to see the new spot and I'm so impressed! Before you even enter, you basically are in a small hallway that also feels like an art gallery, with paintings on display from local artists. Then the inside is so clean, it doesn't feel like the normal dirty tattoo/pierce shop. I've had severe migraines for years. I've heard of the daith piercing but was unsure. Well I had mine done today on the left ear because my migraines are mostly on the left side..it went away immediately after I got my piercing..so excited I cried. Spooky is the best. This place is amazing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They obviously take pride in knowing the patron understands the process from beginning to end. Everything is spotless and they ensure the patron understands the sterilization process and shows throughout the process the instruments and disposal methods. Spooky did my piercings and was able to enlighten me on potential options for growth. I have low blood pressure and he was more than understanding and competent when it came to helping me deal with an issue. I live in Vermont but always travel to At Peace for my piercing needs. Spooky has given me 3 piercings and I would never go anywhere else. Spooky is always attentive and gentle every time. He knows what he is doing and always makes sure I'm comfortable and know whats about to happen. As I have had issues with some piercings he is always happy to trouble shoot with me, and give me suggestions of things that can help, he even answered my Facebook message at 12:00am. You will always receive high quality jewelry, care, and service at, At Peace Body Arts. I have also gotten a tattoo from Josh Dix. Josh is not the best at getting back to people, but his art is amazing and my tattoo turned out beautifully. Josh was happy to make multiple changes to the design as I mentioned them. Spooky is super professional, very personable and makes you feel at ease.   The shop is extremely clean and all jewelry and tools are sterilized before use. While accompanying a friend getting a tattoo--which went fabulously--I decided to get my conch pierced. Spooky, the piercer, is absolutely amazing. He took the time to explain the different types of jewelry to help me choose the right one. He was diligent about showing me how everything was sterilized and kept me very informed throughout the whole process. After the piercing, he paid special attention to make sure that the healing process would go as smoothly as possible and gave me very detailed instructions on aftercare. I even got a lollipop! Well worth the trip to Rochester if you aren't from around there. You can tell that professionalism and cleanliness is a top priority. This shop has a decent sized selection of really unique jewelry.
