Had a great experience here today. Spencer tattooed my boyfriend and I. He took the time to make sure we both liked what he had drawn up and was super professional and really sweet. This tattoo studio has a great selection of both artists that work their on a regular basis and guest artists that travel through.  I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tattoos and I'm a proud owner of multiple tattoos by the owner Jason Scott as well as quite a few of the guest artists that have stopped there in their travels.  You won't regret getting a tattoo here. Congress Street Tattoo is a great shop.  It is very clean and the artists do quality work. I have been tattooed there and brought many friends and family to get tattoos there as well.  We have always been treated with courtesy and respect.  Never have I seen a bad tattoo come out of the doors.  I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great tattoo at a fair price!!!! I came here for my first tattoo and after leaving the shop I immediately regret getting it. A guy named Tony was working that day and he drew me up something that I wanted for a long time. Before getting started, I told him to fix the little details I saw and stressed the fact that I was a perfectionist and therefore I wanted this tattoo to be perfect. A lady came in before he did my tattoo and he told her to wait for him to finish mine first. We got started and the pain was pretty high. I got my tattoo on my back about the size of my palm. It took less than 30 minutes..... For such an intricate tattoo I feel like the whole process was rushed. And I was right. I got to look at my tattoo for about 10 seconds before he bandaged me right up and swiped my credit card. I was blinded my the whole tattoo experience and his hasty approach. Now I am left with crooked lines and sloppy work.. It was so disappointing that I thought about having it removed. I also thought about going back to get it fixed but I'm not going to put myself through another possible fuck up. The reason I wanted to write this review is to let everyone thinking about getting a tattoo to carefully consider the place and artist that will be putting something permanent on you. I think what I will do is find an artist competent enough to fix his work. When I go somewhere and pay a lot of money I expect excellent service and results. I did not find that here. Read Less
