I would like to add, this is not a "fake review."
To go into detail, I have in fact never been a customer here, my good friend was a customer here and had a terrible experience with their staff. In response to her review, which is 100% true, the owners of this business found her on facebook, noted her place of employment on her profile, google searched the place of employment, and left a terrible review on her. Fortunately, she no longer worked there & hadn't updated her profile yet.
Based off of my close friends experience and what I witnessed, I whole hardheartedly posted this review based on professionalism, or lack there of. Not only was their behavior and actions retaliation, it was also against the law & they have since deleted the post. As someone who truly chooses business occasionally based off of reviews, I know personally I would want to know if somewhere I was planning to trust with a tattoo had employees that acted out with such spite & lack or professionalism. Whats next? purposely misspelled tattoos? physically confronting upset clients? Who knows. It is completely unacceptable & situations like this are literally what Google Reviews is for, to review a business & its employees.

My friends and I were looking to get a matching tattoo before one went back to college and the other joined the army. It was a really simple idea, all words. We called and set up a time for a consultation, when we went in for it only 1 of the tattoo artists were there. When they looked at their schedule there was nothing written down about our consultation or our appointment. When I asked to see portfolios I was told "most of it is online" and had to ask 2 more times if I could just see SOMETHING while I was standing there for a consultation that no one had bothered to remember. When given books of some tattoos I was less than impressed at what was inside. The woman could not give me any idea on pricing what so ever, but requested I email her the picture of the font we wanted to use. I tried twice and it was not a legit email both times. These people were unprepared and it showed. Never even got through the consultation process so it's safe to say there's no way in hell I'm going here for my tattoos. Anyone who's interested in quality ink and a professional environment should check out twisted ink!

Absolutely an amazing experience. I had called for a Walk-In and originally I was going to get just a phrase but I also wanted a tree. So Katie, my artist suggested getting the tree and the word under it. I loved her, the front desk guy, Fern, amazing guy, chill. Clean, sanitary, looks great. Professional at it’s finest. Definitely coming back. I tipped 10$ but when I left I absolutely felt like she deserved a bigger tip so if I ever come back, expect double tip!

Professional, very impressed with detail of information when answering every question (7). I wanted a large piece and artist suggested starting with a small piece for my first instead of just taking my $$. It made me feel like I was in really good hands! Katie was very helpful along with Gary & Cathy. I feel like I know them all!
I had read a couple lower star reviews and I am so glad I didn't listen! Check it out, I really think Mayhem is a step up from other shops I checked out!

Best experience! Place is clean, all friendly, the artist took their time. At other places I felt the artist just wanted me in & out so he could get his next tattoo. I got an amazing piece for a couple of hundred & I will be going back for a portrait on my back next month. Professional & very talented. The only hard thing was deciding on which artist!

So we drive trucks thru week & on weekend go out for a ride on our bikes. We decide to stop in at Mayhem Ink knowing as walk ins we might have to wait for a bit. What we didn't realize was how we would be welcomed. Hospitality was quite welcoming by Katie. She greeted us with a smile, gave us all bottled water, & started us on paperwork. The artist were ordering pizza & ordered extra for customers. Artist drew out each of our designs within an hour, & all five of us left with sick tattoos for under $200 each! QUALITY WORK, UNBELIEVABLE PRICE, PROFESSIONAL, & HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We'll be back! Keep on riding & trucking.

This review is not for Mayhem Ink, but for the tattoo artist Randy King. Tattoo artists can work in anyshop which is why I felt it was important to shate my experience with Randy. I wanted a tattoo of my first born daughters name, I wasnt sure which font to choose so after looking over some i decided on one, Randy drew it up the night before and the next day...I changed my mind. I felt bad that he wasted some of his time but he was very professional about it and understood what the customer wanted. Make sure you go to Mayhem and ask for Randy King.I will go back to see him for another tattoo, no matter what shop.

The Best! Custom is definitely their specialty as I received an unbelievable back piece...not quite done yet for posting. I had checked out several local shops & ended up at Mayhem. I now know the difference from Tattoo Shop/Studio & Tattoo Parlor! Parlor is unique, relaxed, & between all artist talent is above an other "shop / studio" in the area. It was well worth my research & HIGHLY recommend Mayhem Ink Tattoo Parlor to anyone looking for their next tattoo.

He was sure to be gentle with the needles and he was very talkative towards me which made the atmosphere more comforting. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I decided to get tattoos for a while and we checked yelp first and trusted on the reviews.Thanks all :) !! So it was welcoming we just gave them a call and asked for n appointment.But they said " just walk in at your ease. How cool was that? We are parents for two babies still under 2 years and time is very crucial. After hearing this "no appointment" I was so relieved !! So my husband and I go our tattoos from Gary and he was so supportive. Indeed he had a touch of an angel. It just hurt like an Ant-bite . My husband tattooed our babies' names and I got a star tattoo near my right collar bone.It took less than 15 minutes. It came out so beautiful !!Can"t wait to have more tattoos!! Thank you so much Mayhem Ink !!PS: yes we too noticed the mean young lady there. Smiling costs nothing !!!

Decided to get inked here after reading the positive Yelp reviews! For a walk-in tattoo I was treated like a had made an appointment, always a bonus. Randy is such a chill dude and everyone else there was so incredibly friendly! All the stations were extremely clean and most importantly, my tattoo came out great! Y'all definitely won me over as a customer, I plan on going back for another tattoo in the next month or so.

Really nice people and great work. I never liked a tattoo studio enough to return a second time, mostly due to rude owners or artists but this place is different. Cathy the owner is wicked nice, and my artist Bobby was easy to get along with for the several hours I spent in his chair. They have signs up everywhere that say they will work with your budget with is cool and when I gave Bobby my idea he designed something better than I expected. I have had work done by plenty of talented artists but this is my spot now because it's not only good work but good people too.

Went last week to see Scott because of an infected Conch piercing I got at another piercing pallor. He was WONDERFUL. Took great care of me, got my ear cleaned up, switched the earring for a better quality ring, and left some directions to help the healing. He is definitely an experienced and professional piercer. If I have problems with my conch again or am in the mood for another piercing will be going back to see him.

They were clean and professional. Not a fan of the music they were playing, but, it probably suits the usual crowd that goes there, who are probably as old as my tattoo... so that was fine! So I went tattoo shopping knowing I was going to get a tattoo should I find one that I liked. I have had tattoos since 1986 and was used to being able to walk into a shop and get a tattoo. Mayhem is in my opinion one if the last original old school shops were you do not need to make an appointment.Walked in with a design and Reno took a look not only said yeah no problem but not only took me with no appointment he hand scetched the design. Long story short tattoo came out amazing, I was so impressed I went back 5 days later and walked in and had Reno do a cover up no appoinent needed. My wife was so impressed she too went down no appointment walked out with a great tattoo. Mayhem and Reno has 2 customers for life. We are even planning on bringing a friend for their first tattoo soon. Choose Mayhem you will not regret your choice.

I just came here because a piecing I got at a different place came out. Jen saw me and was amazing! She was very nice to me and explained nicely what the other place had done wrong but then gave me sea salt (an entire container) and special soap to wash my nose and 2 print out of instructions and her cell for any complications! She did an amazing job and was super great the entire time, wonderful bedside manner. Although I'm pissed I knocked the piercing out it was good because Jen fixed it and now I know where to go.Also I made the drive from Boston to come here and it was well worth it!The entire parlor was sparkling clean as I waited I watched all the artists constantly wash down their stations, it was a great experience. Highly recommend!Thanks Jen!!

So Alex is the shit. I got my two first tattoos from Andy at mayhem years ago and I suffer from loyalty that is immense. Don't be a d-bag, I'll rally at your side in war. Having not gotten a tattoo in years I went back to mayhem in the hopes that they continue to have cool dudes. By chance I got saddled with Alex despite being a walk in and despite not challenging him in my request (I wasn't going for some epic sleeve of Fraudian Faery work that he could show off to his pals later or anything) he was cool as hell, patient with me while I pranced in front of the mirror and made him move the template three times, and then sassed me the whole time he was stabbing me with a needle. I went back today to ask him to stab me with needles again, blatantly stating that the tats I want are boring as hell, and he was down. It was on like donkey kong. Oh and the dude who would pierce you is a sweetheart as well. He ain't piercing me though, that's for damn sure. I prefer ink not holes. So, outcome is this, it's clean and open and welcoming and they're good shits. Nough said.

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet. Must give it props.The shop is clean and awesome looking inside, the artists are helpful, friendly and do awesome work at a great price, and they tattooed my friend and I with no notice or attitude about us not having an appointment. We got some attitude from Devotion Ink and that's how we ended up at Mayhem.The shop was a lot more welcoming and so were the artists. It seemed like they really enjoyed their craft. I have three tattoos and, while I love them all, I love the one I got at Mayhem the most because the experience itself was enjoyable. It kind of sucks to spend a couple of hours being jabbed by a guy who seems like he hates you or is doing a chore or seems to think he is better than the universe. The people are Mayhem were down to earth and came across as genuinely interested in our existance and desire for tattoos. It helped me keep my mind off of the two hours of needling that was done to my ribcage.I'll be going here for my next major ink dose (when I have money again).

The artist work is well drawn. Although, some things pertaining to getting a tatoo are not reviewed prior to getting a first time tatoo such as allergy questions or skin irritants. I would suggest that a questionaire form be applicable to customers, pertaining to their health to qualify to be a good canidate for a tatoo. Although, most allergies are not detected until someone gets infected, those general questions about your health would help the customer decide if getting a tatoo is worth it or not.

This review is not for Mayhem Ink, but for the tattoo artist Randy King. Tattoo artists can work in anyshop which is why I felt it was important to shate my experience with Randy. I wanted a tattoo of my first born daughters name, I wasnt sure which font to choose so after looking over some i decided on one, Randy drew it up the night before and the next day...I changed my mind. I felt bad that he wasted some of his time but he was very professional about it and understood what the customer wanted. Make sure you go to Mayhem and ask for Randy King.I will go back to see him for another tattoo, no matter what shop.

The Best! Custom is definitely their specialty as I received an unbelievable back piece...not quite done yet for posting. I had checked out several local shops & ended up at Mayhem. I now know the difference from Tattoo Shop/Studio & Tattoo Parlor! Parlor is unique, relaxed, & between all artist talent is above an other "shop / studio" in the area. It was well worth my research & HIGHLY recommend Mayhem Ink Tattoo Parlor to anyone looking for their next tattoo.

Friendly and professional and clean. Being my first tattoo I was very nervous but randy put me right at ease and made sure I was sure about everything. He was sure to be gentle with the needles and he was very talkative towards me which made the atmosphere more comforting. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I decided to get tattoos for a while and we checked yelp first and trusted on the reviews.Thanks all :) !! So it was welcoming we just gave them a call and asked for n appointment.But they said " just walk in at your ease. How cool was that? We are parents for two babies still under 2 years and time is very crucial. After hearing this "no appointment" I was so relieved !! So my husband and I go our tattoos from Gary and he was so supportive. Indeed he had a touch of an angel. It just hurt like an Ant-bite . My husband tattooed our babies' names and I got a star tattoo near my right collar bone.It took less than 15 minutes. It came out so beautiful !!Can"t wait to have more tattoos!! Decided to get inked here after reading the positive Yelp reviews! For a walk-in tattoo I was treated like a had made an appointment, always a bonus. Randy is such a chill dude and everyone else there was so incredibly friendly! All the stations were extremely clean and most importantly, my tattoo came out great! Y'all definitely won me over as a customer, I plan on going back for another tattoo in the next month or so.

Really nice people and great work. I never liked a tattoo studio enough to return a second time, mostly due to rude owners or artists but this place is different. Cathy the owner is wicked nice, and my artist Bobby was easy to get along with for the several hours I spent in his chair. They have signs up everywhere that say they will work with your budget with is cool and when I gave Bobby my idea he designed something better than I expected. I have had work done by plenty of talented artists but this is my spot now because it's not only good work but good people too.

Went last week to see Scott because of an infected Conch piercing I got at another piercing pallor. He was WONDERFUL. Took great care of me, got my ear cleaned up, switched the earring for a better quality ring, and left some directions to help the healing. He is definitely an experienced and professional piercer. If I have problems with my conch again or am in the mood for another piercing will be going back to see him.

They were clean and professional. Not a fan of the music they were playing, but, it probably suits the usual crowd that goes there, who are probably as old as my tattoo... so that was fine! So I went tattoo shopping knowing I was going to get a tattoo should I find one that I liked. I have had tattoos since 1986 and was used to being able to walk into a shop and get a tattoo. Mayhem is in my opinion one if the last original old school shops were you do not need to make an appointment.Walked in with a design and Reno took a look not only said yeah no problem but not only took me with no appointment he hand scetched the design. Long story short tattoo came out amazing, I was so impressed I went back 5 days later and walked in and had Reno do a cover up no appoinent needed. My wife was so impressed she too went down no appointment walked out with a great tattoo. Mayhem and Reno has 2 customers for life. We are even planning on bringing a friend for their first tattoo soon. Choose Mayhem you will not regret your choice.

I just came here because a piecing I got at a different place came out. Jen saw me and was amazing! She was very nice to me and explained nicely what the other place had done wrong but then gave me sea salt (an entire container) and special soap to wash my nose and 2 print out of instructions and her cell for any complications! She did an amazing job and was super great the entire time, wonderful bedside manner. Although I'm pissed I knocked the piercing out it was good because Jen fixed it and now I know where to go.Also I made the drive from Boston to come here and it was well worth it!The entire parlor was sparkling clean as I waited I watched all the artists constantly wash down their stations, it was a great experience. Highly recommend!Thanks Jen!!

So Alex is the shit. I got my two first tattoos from Andy at mayhem years ago and I suffer from loyalty that is immense. Don't be a d-bag, I'll rally at your side in war. Having not gotten a tattoo in years I went back to mayhem in the hopes that they continue to have cool dudes. By chance I got saddled with Alex despite being a walk in and despite not challenging him in my request (I wasn't going for some epic sleeve of Fraudian Faery work that he could show off to his pals later or anything) he was cool as hell, patient with me while I pranced in front of the mirror and made him move the template three times, and then sassed me the whole time he was stabbing me with a needle. I went back today to ask him to stab me with needles again, blatantly stating that the tats I want are boring as hell, and he was down. It was on like donkey kong. Oh and the dude who would pierce you is a sweetheart as well. He ain't piercing me though, that's for damn sure. I prefer ink not holes. So, outcome is this, it's clean and open and welcoming and they're good shits. Nough said.

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet. Must give it props.The shop is clean and awesome looking inside, the artists are helpful, friendly and do awesome work at a great price, and they tattooed my friend and I with no notice or attitude about us not having an appointment. We got some attitude from Devotion Ink and that's how we ended up at Mayhem.The shop was a lot more welcoming and so were the artists. It seemed like they really enjoyed their craft. I have three tattoos and, while I love them all, I love the one I got at Mayhem the most because the experience itself was enjoyable. It kind of sucks to spend a couple of hours being jabbed by a guy who seems like he hates you or is doing a chore or seems to think he is better than the universe. The people are Mayhem were down to earth and came across as genuinely interested in our existance and desire for tattoos. It helped me keep my mind off of the two hours of needling that was done to my ribcage.I'll be going here for my next major ink dose (when I have money again).

The artist work is well drawn. Although, some things pertaining to getting a tatoo are not reviewed prior to getting a first time tatoo such as allergy questions or skin irritants. I would suggest that a questionaire form be applicable to customers, pertaining to their health to qualify to be a good canidate for a tatoo. Although, most allergies are not detected until someone gets infected, those general questions about your health would help the customer decide if getting a tatoo is worth it or not.
