Don't get pierced here. They pierced my septum in the wrong place making it extremely painful to heal. And it was a LONG healing process. They put a piece of jewelry in it that was way too big for my face. It was extremely embarrassing. The ring hung down below my top lip! Read Less

I went to art for life in keene to have a surface pericing done. The very next day I had to take it out, it was sticking out of my skin about an 8th of an inch, (majority of peircings, an 8th of an inch is too much) not to mention that he had trouble getting it to fit me properly under my skin while he was doing it. I wanted my $100 back! I didn't even have it for 24 hours before it had to be taken out! The piercer agreed to refund me, but the following day he took back on his word and would not give me back my money. I called and wanted to speak to the owner, he was refusing to do so as well, so I told him I'd send him a picture of it and I'll let him decide wether or not I should get my refund. After he received the photo, he agreed to give me $50. The entire time through out this I was given attitude, by the piercer, I told him repeatedly that I am not trying to insult his work, or anything like that. He was very rude. When I went to collect my money I walked in apologizing about the inconvenience and what not, and I couldn't have been more sweet to somebody who wasn't the one who pierced me and the owner then told me I was arguing with him?! and right by his side was one of his employees haggling me and talking down to me. I asked the employee to leave the conversation please because I was just wanted to talk to the owner and he replied with "no, you have somebody with you?" (My boyfriend), I've never had such a terrible experience before. I really needed a cover up. In the process of deciding whether this was the right place for me, I had them fix one tattoo and do two others. I was sold. Cover up process commence! After three sittings, Mike (the owner), has put the most bad ass piece of art over the worst, horrible, embarrassing excuse for art. My arm looks so much better now. Because it was a cover up, he drew on me for about 30-45 min before starting. I did my research and knew that cover ups weren't an exact science, so I was expecting that and was surprised at how fast he worked. Also, I expected to pay a lot more than I did for the work. I was very pleased with the price and the final product. Have been and will be forever recommending them to everyone looking for a tattoo shop. They will be the shop I go to for life. Thanks guys! I have only reviewed their work second hand.  Never had work done but my brother who has roughly $10,000 of art on his body to his name would only go to this place.   My brothers and sister have got multiple tattoo's here and would swear by it.  The end result is vibrant and brilliant colors.  Also, they are very very good with before and after results to remove or cover up an old tattoo. Mike Connors is simply an amazing artist who is as creative as he is talented. He designed the tattoo I got from him from scratch and it came out a hundred times better than I ever could have imagined it. Mike is quick and his prices are quite reasonable, too.
