Kevin is an absolutely amazing artist! I've had him do three different pieces now. Every time it's the same process - the one he insists on to maximize the quality of the tattoo and make sure you get exactly what you want and what you'll be happy with. Your first step is to go in and tell him what you have in mind - have a general idea, but don't be too specific. He makes it a team effort to develop a custom piece that's what you've been looking for only even better than you thought it would look. After you figure it out, he draws something up and you guys continue to work together to perfect it. This may put some people off, but Kevin is a true artist. That collaboration between your vision and his expertise (he knows what your tattoo will look like even before he puts it on your body!) produces some of the best skin art around. He's patient, always chill, and super-upbeat all the time. I won't let anyone else tattoo my pieces. The piece I attached a photo of was a cover-up. It started off as just that ring in the middle.
