I don't normally post about an experience but I feel that these have been exceptional. I went to Fondue last month with a friend to get several ear piercings done. 2 lobe and 2 cartilage. Jasmine and Erin helped me. They helped me pick out the right jewelry. They explained the difference in metals and prices. Jasmine did my piercings. I felt at ease and comfort the whole time. I will add that I don't have any fear of needles and I do enjoy getting pierced. So I was not nervous at all. Jasmine is extremely professional and knowledgeable at what she does. I returned a couple days ago to get my right tragus and daith pierced. Jasmine pierced me again and did another fantastic job. I am going back to have several more done when my others heal up. It's been a few years but I went in for a tattoo and the dude used the wrong size gauge or needle and my tattoo became infected. It was pretty bad. I've been to Fondue a handful of times over the years with no memorable (good or bad) thoughts... fast forward to March 2018 when my bestfriend wanted his ears pierced. Fondue was in the neighborhood and open and there we were. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Perhaps it's the fact that I've aged a few years but I always felt intimidated in all piercing places when I was younger. And now that I'm older, I almost expect a "you're too old to be doing this" attitude from this type of place.... not from Fondue though. We have since returned for another piercing and brought our out of town friend for yet ANOTHER piercing. And stopped by for jewelry purchases. Always friendly. Offering tons of options. Reasonable prices for piercings and jewelry! Most recently my wife stopped in for some jewelry to fill her previously stretched lobes that had shrunken over the years. They were awesome at helping her identify the correct size and installed them for her so we knew they fit. They even had her pick out a couple sizes of jewelry so they could maximize the hole stretching when it came down to the installation. I got my rook done, was honestly the easiest piercing for me. Everyone is very friendly, they went over the whole process which made it a lot more comfortable for me. I got a discount because it was done through an apprenticed piercer, but I totally trusted her and she did amazing. I am writing this review because I came to fondue to get my forward helix pierced. When I was at the shop the employees asked me if I would be comfortable with one of the girls piercing me as she was in the process of learning how to pierce properly and there would be an experienced piercer there to assist. I agreed because she said she had been practicing for over a year. I picked out jewelry and they said unfortunately that I would have to pick out a longer piece of jewelry so it could accommodate the swelling I would have. Right after picking out longer jewelry, one of the employees said it would be okay to go with the shorter jewelry. I found this a little odd but trusted them because they are professionals. It took quite awhile for her to position the jewelry properly and get comfortable to pierce me. She pierced my first forward helix with a little problem and the experience piercer had to take out the jewelry and redo it. The second piercing he just did himself. The next day after the piercing, my ear was swollen and the front diamond on the jewelry was completely embedded in my skin due to having such a short bar in my ear. The piercers asked me to pick out longer jewelry which I did and then they went with the shorter jewelry anyways. I ended up going to urgent care right away. I sat in urgent care for about two hours while the doctors sliced my ear open and gave me endless amounts of lidocaine to stop the pain. In the end, the doctor had to slice my ear open and then cut the jewelry in half with a ring cutter. They confirmed that my ear was way too swollen and the piercers should have used longer jewelry. I ended up getting a bill for urgent care in the mail for $250. I reaches out to fondue and they acted very hostile and said that I was responsible for the swelling. They didn't even take any responsibility for what happened and they basically told me there was nothing they can do. I encourage people to stay away from fondue so they don't end up going to urgent care and getting their ear cut open. Black hole may be more pricey but they are worth it! Read Less

I had my first piercing done here tonight and I gotta say Jasmine and Mark are amazing!  They have such a good shop for real! I wish they had a few more jewelry options but the stuff that They do have is solid and great quality.  They were very informative and super welcoming the second me and my friends walked in the shop.  Jasmine spent a good few minutes lining up my ear lobe piercing marks and made sure they were perfectly lined up which I am definitely glad that she took the time to even everything out.  She explained the items on the table without me even having to ask and made sure I was comfortable with everything that was to be done.  The piercing part hurt a bit but not enough to really be worried about and the pain was quick and over with quickly.  I've wanted these piercing for 14 years and I am now 21 so I'm glad I came to fondue to get the job done.  And the job was done right!  Very good work and my friends are planning on coming back to get more work done after seeing what I had done.  Props to these guys!  They run an amazing shop and have the best prices I could find while searching around Reno/Sparks while at the same time looking only at reputable shops.  Solid work Jasmine!!!!  Thank you! I haven't gotten a piercing in a while, so I was a little nervous. I highly recommend this place! I know everything was clean and he did a great job considering I haven't been able to feel the piercing since I got it.. I just got my belly button pierced yesterday, and I am so happy with it! I was a little nervous walking in but that very quickly subsided after talking to the workers. They're all so chill, nice, and great at what they do. They know what they're doing very well. If a friend or anyone asks me about good piercing places, I will stress that they go here. If you're under 18 too just remember an ID (school, license, etc.) and a copy of your birth certificate. Have a parent take you with their ID, and you're all set! I love coming to this shop for piercings! I just got my nose re-pierced and it was a great experience. They have no problem with people coming in and helping them switch out their jewelry, as well as answer any and all questions one may have. They have a bunch of colored studs to choose from, which is also nice, so you don't have to have the typical clear stud when your little heart is dying for a blue one. I had gotten several reccomendations to Fondue from friends who had also gotten piercings there, which reassured my choice. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly. Being a person who is not a fan of needles and such, I was at ease here.
