Bought jewelry here due to loosing mine, couldn't have them put it in because the piercer had certain hours that was lose to the time i was there, came back a 2nd time piercer was helping someone-cool understandable, but after waiting 20 mins and hearing chit chat i left to come back for a THIRD AND FINAL time to be told again the piercer would be there from 230-430pm um i ork 8-5pm and will not come back for a 4th time just for some jewelry to be put in..not to mention i asked for the dental backing stud and didnt receive that kind nor was i told they didnt carry what i was asking for till after i paid.. yup shoulda looked at it before giving my money ill admit but issue after issue i will go to an actual body piercing studio such as Black Hole or Fondue! Went here earlier today and absolutely loved it!!! I got 3 piercings 2 on the sides of my nose and one on my lip and he did an amazing job!! Went for a walk in to get my lip pierced, came back for a walk in tattoo. I don't remember her name, but the girl who pierced my lip was super nice and answered all the questions I had about jewlery, because I wasn't sure what kind to get. Their prices for piercings also include the cost for the basic jewlery, which is really nice. Ron did my tattoo, which is a pretty basic octopus, about 2x1 inches, just black line without shading. It cost $60, which is really nice given that a lot of shops in Reno have a $100 minimum. He uses, and I think all the artists in the shop use, this really cool clear bandage that you change after about a day and leave the second one on for like a week after, so you don't have to worry about washing and moisturizing it while it heals. Overall it was a super good experience, and I'm hoping to make an appointment sometime to get some watercolor detail done on an existing tattoo. Read Less

I was incredibly nervous to get pierced, but this place is great with a couple of really nice and welcoming employees. Super enjoyable experience with Renee who made me feel very comfortable and was easy to talk to which calmed down my nerves. Amazing pricing and a pamphlet with instructions on after care and even some salt mix for cleaning which was extremely nice because I've never had that before. Renee took we time with explaining step by step the after care process and even gave me her card if I had any issues or questions. Really nice and welcoming people that helped make the experience much more comfortable. Also the "stamp card" is an awesome idea for those who come in frequently. I am HIGHLY satisfied with my body modifications here! They even gave me a care sheet and the right sea salt to care for my piercings! They were so fast and the most friendliest staff I have ever encountered at any tattoo/piercing shop. After having a horrible, rude and irritating experience with a piercing place in midtown, my wife found Under Your Skin Tattoo & Body Piercing. $30 for both ears, and unlike the other place in midtown, Ron, the owner, was such a pleasant fellow to speak with. He treated my daughter like a princess, which he didn't have to, and it was very much welcomed considering our experience at that other place in midtown. Came in for an industrial, helix, and septum. Everything was explained before, during, and after, with a touch of humor to keep the atmosphere light. Prices were great. I wish there were more options for starter jewelry, but what there was, was good quality. Every piercing went fast and was clean. I get dizzy at the sight of blood and he was even considerate enough to keep bloody towels and q-tips out of sight. He even told me individualized healing concerns/tips, and offered to curve the bar for me if it gets uncomfortable with my ear shape. I didn't even feel the septum. Helix is clean. You do not get a solution for cleaning like other places, but he went into detail about cleaning and did give some purified sea salt to start off the cleaning process. I was being stupid and went to a different shop to have both conchs done. They put the wrong jewelry in and their shop was completely vacant (4 days later) when I went to get the rings changed due to them being too tight. I've been pierced by Ron before so I stopped by in hopes that he could help me. He changed my rings out at a very fair price, and actually put in the hoops that I wanted to begin with. A friend and I got dermal chest piercings today by Renee. She was amazing. She was very gentle and calming. Although, I was pretty nervous, she was very patient and professional. The price that she charged us was comparable to a previous piercing I received in Washington. The piercing was painful, but only for a short time and the pain had nothing to do with Renee. I"m normally not one to write a review, but I feel like this place deserves one! I went in yesterday to get my nose pierced and it was such a fast, friendly, and painless experience. The owner was incredibly kind to take the time to write a letter that I needed in order to continue donating plasma in the future. The artist that did the piercing, I don't know her name, but she had red hair and glasses and was the sweetest little thing. She did an amazing job!! I had watched other videos on nose piercings where they leave the needle in your nose and then add the jewelry which looks like it would hurt more and takes too long. That was not the case here. Within 2-3 seconds the the piercing was done with jewelry in and with minimal pain. I am so glad I decided to go to Under Your Skin. I would definitely recommend this place! Read Less
