Came in to get my septum pierced, on Sunday August 24th, the person who was piercing me was in the bathroom for almost a half an hour before coming out and getting me signed in and talking to me. Was greeted, through the bathroom door right when I walked in, with "sorry I'm in the shitter i'll be out in a few". After he got out of the bathroom he handed me a consent form to sign, while on the phone, and then said he needed to go back to the bathroom and was on the phone for another little while after going back in to the bathroom. The person who pierced me was very unproffesional and has no fucking clue what the fuck they were doing. He clamped my nose in what he thought was the right spot, and pierced it, it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I could not stop shaking. I've had piercings before and never has anything hurt so bad. My friend got her septum pierced at black hole the day before and hers didn't hurt, and didn't bleed. I thought it was incorrect, but I wasn't sure so I went to another local shop, Black Hole Body Piercings, and got an opinion, they told me that the man who pierced me pierced right through my cartlidge and it was way too low on my nose and that is why it hurt so much and wouldn't stop bleeding. In addition, they said it could take up to a year to heal and I should take it out immediately. I went back to talk with the guy who pierced me, to tell him he fucked up. He didn't care at all he was convinced that it was in the correct place and that it didn't need to be taken town, he said that Black Hole doesn't know what they're doing and that I shouldn't listen to them. Very unprofessional , very painful , pretty sure the person who pierced me was on drugs of sorts because he kept slurring his words and was stumbling when he walked. I'm not the type of person to EVER write a bad review I don't even write reviews in general, but this business is unprofessional, dirty, run down, and the fucking owner is a prick who doesn't know how to fucking pierce and can't own up for his own mistakes...

I am totally a very optimistic person. However I have had my nipple pierced for 2 years now and loved it! So of course me and my bff went to get my other side and get his both done. When Jason (the owner) marked me the markings were perfect. But when he pierced it not only did he not use his markings he went to far back on my Areola and I had to take it out the next day.. now I am paying the xtra money to go to someone who knows what they're doing.

Im new, young, and from way out of town, just wanting a simple, small, first tattoo. I see how this made it easy for them to rip me the f*** off. The purpose of me getting the tattoo done in this area as opposed to northern va was so that the tattoo itself would be cheaper, I paid $80 AND did the courteous thing to tip my artist $15. They told me because of my placement. The tattoo itself is good, not perfect on the circle though. Everyone was suddenly a lot nicer to me when I had agreed to go through with it and after when I paid. I have felt guilty about spending so much of my money on a tiny, mediocre tattoo, but I take part responsibility in not even attempting to haggle the price down in the spur of the moment.

Came in to inkaholics with a recommendation from another local inker late the other night with a sporadic idea. I expected a linear squiggle for somewhere around 50 dollars, I was convinced to pay a little over a hundred and What I got completely overdid my expectations. Even though it was late and I didn't have it drawn up correctly, Ray took the time to make some really nice sketches for me and my boyfriend, we went into the basement room to get hurt and although it was a little cold ( bring a blanket if it's winter) the apprentice took her time with the placement and set up. I got a harmonica tattooed on my wrist by Jason the owner and my man got a banjo on his arm by ray. Not only did they spend almost 2.5 hours on something I expected to just get done fast. He used two different needle tips. A shader and white ink to make it pop. Even a drop shadow! They really did a spectacular job. I can't recommend them enough. Good ink, good company, great music. Go get hurt.

Came in to get my septum pierced, on Sunday August 24th, the person who was piercing me was in the bathroom for almost a half an hour before coming out and getting me signed in and talking to me.
