Before I say anything else I'd like to stress that I have no experience with the tattooing aspect of this shop and cannot give any review, positive or negative, to most of the artists. I'm from out of town and the storms the last few days have been giving me migraines like I can't even describe. This was the closest shop, and it's got a decent rating, so in I went to get a set of daiths. It took a good 30 seconds for Jose and Jessenia to get the needle through both times. The last time I had a piercing done this poorly it permanently altered the shape of my ear. Jessenia tried to give me a 14g replacement bar for my 18g industrial. I asked them to please tighten the jewelry as much as the physically could, because I've had a lot of experiences of not being able to get it back together if something happens. Hell, I've had ends come off and end up so far in my ear canal that they wouldn't come back out. Had to go to the hospital over it. Well guess what just happened! Anyways, I'm off to the ER. My friend and I had heard good things about this place so we decided to walk in to get some more information.We were greeted by Josh who was helpful and agreed to do our tattoos. He was quick to sketch some ideas and accommodated both our requests. He offered excellent advice about tattoo size, placement, and design. We learned that Josh has been tattooing for 15 years and his execution of tattoos is testament to his knowledge.This was our first tattoo experience and Josh and ATM Tattoos made it a great one! Went yesterday for a tattoo and was told I was 20 min past the phone call time and had to be re-waitlisted. Even though I have the voicemail transcript and text to friends inside waiting that are time stamped 18 min. The voicemail says I had 30 min , I arrived in 13 and was turned away. Also followed through the shop like I was not supposed to be there. I am not forcing anyone to take my money. But that was shitty service.The work and talent on my friends was amazing. My dog passed away yesterday and I was devastated that I couldn't give her the proper goodbye. So as for closure, my cousin recommended for me to come here for a tribute tattoo for her and I was blown away! Lola did an amazing job and I love the way my mango blossoms came out on my collarbones. It was super quick and it came out beautifully. I cannot comment on the work of the shop.  This is about the owner, or an artist at the shop.  (Whoever it is that has the white Escalade) the vehicle is parked in the Red zone way too often.  This is a safety hazard and it is illegal.  This demonstrates complete disregard for the safety of surrounding businesses and homes.  Not only that, but because your vehicle is so large, I cannot see when trying to pull out on Wells avenue.  I am sure that others have the same problem.  There is parking behind the building, on the curb in front of your business and across the street. Lola at A Toda Madre was amazing! My Fiance and I went in for our first tattoos during our honeymoon, following being cancelled on by another shop. Had the best experience, she drew up the designs we wanted, putting her own personal artist touch into them and they turned out amazing! To celebrate May the 4th, I treated myself to a simple Star Wars tattoo. After reading ATMT's stellar reviews here on Yelp, I decided to walk-in. I was greeted with a happy hello and smiles (a rarity in the local tattoo scene!) and was inked by Alberto. We talked about the neighborhood and my love for the Rebel Alliance. I just have to say this shop was welcoming and willing to work with us prior to even coming in. We made an appointment and from start to finish we enjoyed are experience. I got my chest done by Crizzo and I loved it for the time it was healing, the artists are all great and the vibe they spread is as well, but what I didn't like was going in getting the outline done and rescheduled for the next week. You can't see the facial structures in the Greek gods that well and I honestly didn't get the tattoo that I described I wanted , but 3 months later I seen that he had done what I wanted on someone else and that it was a piece he had been working on since before I went in for mine. I don't doubt his ability to knock it out of the park, but I noticed that he needs time to plan out his tattoos to get them perfectly done. I loved my chest piece and still like it, I just know it could've been better and wish I could've gotten a heads up. I wouldn't have minded waiting and extra 3 weeks to start it.. Read Less

I've come here twice to see Edgar, who is a black and white ink specialist, well, at least in my book. He's done two of my 4 tattoos, and I will be going back to him for the rest (when I figure out what I want)He's super friendly and easy to work with. Wonderful; the artists, the art, the cleanliness of the shop, everything! My boyfriend had an appointment with Crizzo & I was taken as a walk-in by Jorge. We could not have asked for better service.
