I found Jesse Z online and needed his expertise advice about a tattoo I had gotten somewhere else. I live in another state and had a late night question so he texted me and I sent him a photo. He looked at the photo and texted me back and confirmed the healing process is looking just fine. I can tell he is passionate about his work and cares about tattoos and their healing process. I emailed him  (and people saying he doesn't respond or takes forever to respond is a lie) he emailed me back in less than 30 minutes, he's only 1 person and has many clients... he even opened up the shop at 9:30am just to take us in right away. Contacted Jesse about my girlfriend's first tat. He asked me to email him with the idea for the artwork - which I did. After 2 weeks of waiting, I called his shop and asked for a response since we needed to lock down an appointment for 4th of July weekend. The guy ignored me. So I called Groupon and was refunded and we're going to make an appointment at another shop. It's by appointment & you talk extensively about your idea & he draws something up. First Tattoo!The shop was a bit tucked away when I first came to get a quote on my tat. The locale wasn't very appealing, but Jesse's workspace and shop more than makes up for it! It's small, but it's also very....home-y.I felt immediately welcome when I stepped in. Being my first tattoo, I was a bit nervous, but Jesse was helpful. He asked what I wanted, where, and how big. After paying $40 for him to design something, I waited until it was the time to get inked! The day of, Jesse did not arrive on time, but that's okay! Shit happens! Turns out his a/c went out and had to get it fixed. This being Vegas, I understand that and set a later time that day. Once there, he prepped everything and walked me through what he was doing from time to time. I was very relieved to see how clean and meticulous he had set everything up.
