Holly Thomas is an incredible artist, she doesn't settle for anything mediocre. She will give you the best tattoo that fits YOUR body the best. She did both of my palms, the side of my hand, and two outlines in the days that followed the shooting on the strip, nothing but professional and made me feel safe and comfortable while I was there. The shop is CLEAN and there is gorgeous artwork all over the walls. I wouldn't go anywhere else, even if that means a 1500 mile flight every time I need new ink. First Time Here To StayTrue To Get My Tragus's Done.Not Upset With The Shop, Just Expressing My Experience.Giving Them 4 1/2 Stars. Mainly Because I Read So Many Great Reviews About Johnny Vegas, How He Pierces And Tattoos, But He Was Not There And Instead "Skateboarding"... (Granite Everyone Has Their Outside Life) Completely Understandable. The Piercer (Whom Didn't Introduce Himself) Seemed Irritable Because Of The "Friday 13th Special" And How Busy They Were Getting. When I Sat Down To Get Pierced, He Placed The Dots On My Ears And Didn't Let Me Check The Placements. (I Will In Fact Give Him 5 Stars Because It Wasn't Painful).Later, I Noticed That He Slightly Was Off From The Dotted Mark (Which Would Have Been PERFECT). After He Put On The Jewelry, He Didn't Even Clean My Ears That Had A Few Drops Of Blood Or The Dots He Marked. That's How I Knew He Was Slightly Off. So Now He Went Down To 3 Stars, As Far As Accuracy.Luckily, Even With My OCD... My sister and I went in to get tattoos for our brother. We were bent on having only the owner do our tattoos based on a recommendation but he was off. Ended up meeting JohnnyVegas and he assured us he was more than willing to help out. He sketched everything out exactly how I wanted it and made some suggestions to make sure it looked exactly how I wanted. He was able to copy the entire font of my brothers tattoo based on one picture with only a few letters visible. Yes, they were small and simple tattoos but he has some amazing work. And they were   beautiful. But it was just as much about how we were made to feel while we were there. Johnny let us play my brothers favorite songs.. Do his favorite shots and tell stories about him until we had to leave.  I would never go anywhere else for that reason alone. Best artist I have had, Iv been to a lot of artists and none as talented or at ease as Johnny vegas was. I went to a few shops before I found this one and ran into a lot of real "winners" with overpriced work that wasn't well done. Johnny was amazing and the price was totally fair! I drove 3.5 hours to get some work done on my 3/4 sleeve and can't wait to go back. The shop is full of custom artwork, clean, well-managed and the artist was willing to come in on her day off to accommodate my schedule. Don't expect a shop full of flash, you'll be getting a custom drawn piece of artwork. I would never get tattooed at a shop if I didn't like the vibe and I love this place. All I want to say is I drove all the from California to come to staytrue tattoo. The service is bar none. The artist were very courteous worked around my hectic work schedule. Also if anyone didn't know one of the tattoo artist owned a studio in corona ca. Called trusted tattoo, She is so good that I drove from temecula California to get work done from her. I looked Around in California to find someone to take her place but I am better off driving 4 hours and getting top artwork for my money. So stay true to yourself and get what you pay for!!! It's about time I give props where props are due. I walked into Staytrue on the recommendation of a friend to see Jason Murphy. Yeah, I was that guy with a few "tribal" ideas on my arm and shoulder. Flash forward four months and several sessions later and I have an armful of tattoos done by Jason Murphy. It's all Japanese in nature but the detail and use of color is EXACTLY what I asked for and more. I receive compliments daily, some going as far as doubting I had the work done in Las Vegas as there are no artist "that" talented in the valley. I'm far from your stereotypical tattoo wearing fella so it's a huge testament to Jason's ability, my trust in him, and my comfort level to extend down my arm completely. The best two tattoo shops in Vegas are Staytrue Tattoo Parlor and Bombshell Tattoo Parlor which is inside the Fashion Show Mall inside the Bettie Page Clothing Store.
