Rad shop, clean, old-school, and long-standing shop in downtown Vegas. Personable owner and staff, which frankly, isn't typical of old-school shops. We appreciated that. They were able to accommodate our walk-in (don't expect that at any tattoo shop; we were fortunate) and they did great, sharp work. We're likely going to be visiting this shop every year when we hit Vegas.

On our trip to Vegas a few weeks ago we decided to check out possibly getting Mother/Daughter tattoos. We picked Downtown Tattoo because it had great reviews. We immediately were impressed by the vibe of the shop, and were greeted by an extremely patient and kind young man who helped us figure out what we wanted. This was our first time getting tattoos so of course we were all pretty nervous and had lots of questions, and they took the time to be sure we were getting what we wanted. The artists were very professional and friendly, it was so much fun and our tattoos turned out AMAZING! When we come back to Vegas, we will definitely be back to visit Downtown Tattoo!!

I'm here on vacation with my bestfriend, we came to Vegas to have a great time and get some tattoos, we came across Downtown tattoo parlor , it's off the strip, the neighborhood looks like it can get rough at night , so go early! The customer service was great !! which I'm very big on ! The establishment is very clean , I brought in the design, Eric the artist drafted my idea.. He was cool person to talk too ,even though the tattoo was kicking my butt ,it comes with getting tattoos, Thank you Downtown tattoo,for working with my budget ! I will recommend this place ..

Best place to get a tattoo in Vegas, i always stay on freemont and they are a short walk from my favorite casino the El Cortez. Buddy, Charles, Eric, Ryan, Sterling or Amanda are all top notch!

Went down yesterday to get tattoed by Eric. Such a great experience. The shop is so clean & so well decorated. There's floor to ceiling flash done by the artists. Literally. There's flash on the ceiling. All the guys create such a welcoming experience the whole time you're there. Eric did such a great job with my tattoo, he took an idea & made it even cooler than I could've imagined & he got it drawn up & done so quickly. So pleased with the whole experience. Would definitely recommend any of the artists here & will definitely return for future work!

My wife and I got matching tattoos. Mine turned out great but hers... Not so good. Complete blow out. The guy that did hers seemed offended that I thought her stencil was slightly crooked. It was her first tattoo ever and I'm pretty sure her was going too deep on purpose. It bled like crazy for 2 days and now blown out. We got them done here because of the reviews and price. Now I wish we would have spent the extra money and got it done someplace else.

My husband and I came in for walk-in tattoos, and we could be more impressed! We were drawn in by their American Traditional work, and they far surpassed our expectations. Buddy did a traditional rose on my neck, and Ryan did a traditional eagle on my husband's chest. Both were extremely friendly and welcoming, worked quickly, and did an amazing job. Shop is very clean, and everyone is professional. I would absolutely r commend this place! We will definitely be back!!!

All the other artists that were there that night were way cool and all mixing it up with staff and customers like everyone was old friends. Tons of great art on the walls (and ceiling) to peruse while you wait and get ideas for your next piece. Looking forward to going back as soon as we can. Thanks guys.

Do not give them a credit card to hold an appointment; it will be charged even if you pay cash for the tat and tip at the time of service. When asked to refund my credit card, I was told they considered it an additional tip ($150 on top of the $40 they were already tipped in cash?!). I was offered a gift certificate to make things right, but not what I wanted as I live out of state... I want my money back and they refuse to, now I am having to go through the dispute process with my credit card company.. not cool!So sad that I have to leave a bad review, as I did my homework on this place before hand and was pleased with the work done

Buddy did a piece for the wife. Came out awesome and was done way faster than we thought. Shop is super clean and professional. All the other artists that were there that night were way cool and all mixing it up with staff and customers like everyone was old friends. Tons of great art on the walls (and ceiling) to peruse while you wait and get ideas for your next piece. Looking forward to going back as soon as we can. Thanks guys.

Buddy has done work on me and it still looks great after 4 1/2 years. Just got another small piece done by another artist there. I'm really bad with names but he's a really cool bloke! While I really liked feel of the old location, the new place is just as comfortable. And I honestly can't say enough about the artists that work here. Simply awesome!

Do not give them a credit card to hold an appointment; it will be charged even if you pay cash for the tat and tip at the time of service. When asked to refund my credit card, I was told they considered it an additional tip ($150 on top of the $40 they were already tipped in cash?!). I was offered a gift certificate to make things right, but not what I wanted as I live out of state... I want my money back and they refuse to, now I am having to go through the dispute process with my credit card company.. not cool!So sad that I have to leave a bad review, as I did my homework on this place before hand and was pleased with the work done

Every artist are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet that will make you feel welcome every time you walk in there. I've had the honor to work with Josh Adams and now I will not go to any other artist. He has done nothing but surpass any expectations I've had. Thank you, Josh!

ive been wanting a tattoo for a very long time and had the guys at downtown tattoo do it for me. i am very pleased with my new tattoo. the shop was very clean and the guys were very nice.

horrible experience! paid deposit for custom tattoo, nothing was drawn for 2 weeks.when I complained artist told me to F off he was sick. Oh and your deposit is non refundable. Even if they never draw...
