I got my tongue pierced by Sami last year and it went amazing! She walked me through everything that was going to happen and showed me the needle in the sealed package before she pierced me to show that it was sterile. It was a quick and painless experience. She gave me a printed sheet of the aftercare instructions and her cell phone number to text if I had any questions (which I did and I got a quick and friendly response). Got a daith piercing by Sami. She was super professional and explained the process. Sterile environment, sterile tools and piercing equipment. She used gloves, all the good stuff you want and look for. She gave me her cell number and an instruction sheet. I got my piercing months ago and am just writing my review now. My ball of my piercing has fallen off a few times so I've had to go back to Sami and bug her to put it on and change out my jewelry a few times as well and she has been so patient and awesome!! I came here to get my belly button pierced, and my piercer was Sami. She was so kind and really made me feel at peace. She marked exactly where she'd pierce then asked me to make sure it looked good to me. She also opened the needle right in front of me to ensure I knew that I was getting new, sterile equipment. Sami just told me to take a deep breath in, and a hard breath out and it was over, small pinch and it was done. She cleaned my jewelry after she put it in and gave me a sheet of paper with directions on how to clean my piercing and what to use and what NOT to use when cleaning. I'm 16 so my mom had to be there with me. We only needed my ID, and my mothers ID since we have the same last name. If you're underage and DONT have the same last name, you'll need your birth certificate. I paid $45 for my navel piercing but always tip your piercer! Worked with Devin at the Henderson location. This shop looks more like a salon than a tattoo parlour, separate rooms but you may have to share with another client/artist.I walked-in on a Friday and scheduled my sitting for the following week. It was an estimated 4-5 hours and the pricing was right where I expected. Devin worked with me through the whole process to ensure I was comfortable. During stencil placement, he was happy to re-adjust and custom draw a couple spots so I was happy with the location. This was by far the lightest/easiest/least painful tattoo I've ever sat through. I can't remember the Brand/Model of tattoo gun he uses, but it's lightweight so you don't have he weight of an old school gun bouncing off your skin. After running through the full tattoo, Devin cleaned the stencil fully and asked me to take a look at the tattoo and let him know if there were any areas that i wanted him to touch up before I left. We hit a couple more spots. Full sitting ended up being about 6 hours.We'll schedule a follow-up after it's healed to tighten up any lines or corners. Most tattoo shops look similar with large designs or writing on the outside of the building, in a sketchy part of town, with a lot of scary looking guys ready to stab you with needles and rub ink on you. This shop will make you feel comfortable as the location is inside a business center with other medical and professional businesses. It is very discreet with only the business name above the door. You can miss it if your not looking for it. The staff was welcoming and the facility was very clean. The tattoo rooms have doors for privacy so if you want a tattoo/piercing in a private area, you should come here. I had some work done by "Devious" and it was better than I could habe expected. He was funny and worked through the entire tattoo. He made sure I was comfortable and kept the conversation going when things got a little "difficult" to keep my mind off the pain. I've been looking for a place to get my nipples pierced for a long time, and when my friend recommended the Skin Factory, I booked my appointment. Going in, I was very nervous, but Sami made me feel more assured. I was comfortable the entire time, and when it came to the piercing she was extremely clean and quick. Let me start by saying how nice and comfortable the interior of the office is, and how professional the staff is. Well done, Eddie, you have trained them all well! This shop is near my house and came upon recommendation from friends. I came in a month or so ago and was put in contact with Devin, an artist here at Skin Factory. From the moment I texted Devin and shared with him what I had been going through recently, he was so eager to start designing my new piece. He sent updates along the way when he was drawing the design, and was super understanding with what I was looking for. Devin allowed me to express my thoughts through his art. I have been more than impressed with Devin's work and he is the only artist I will be coming to in the future. He will be starting to design my next piece for my left arm here shortly which we will start on sometime in the next few months or so. I have spent a total of 9 hours in shop with Devin for my arm piece, and he is having me return next week for more touch ups, so he knows I am going away from it more than satisfied. Went in for a removal and was told was going to be 7 to 8 treatment. I had 6 treatments done on the side of my head and the tattoo was gone. I've been contemplating a Daith piercing for some time & FINALLY bit the bullet. I spoke w\Sami {yes spoke, NOT texted} & literally flew over there on impulse to have it done. I have been thinking about getting piercings since 2012 and I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for it because I should do what makes me happy. And I figure if I didn't like it, I could just take them out and it would be like nothing ever happened.When I first came to this place I felt like I was at a doctor's office. That's how clean this place felt. The staff here is so professional and made me feel so welcome even though this was my first time getting anything done to my body.Sami walked me through the entire process and made me feel at ease even though I was beyond excited. I did not feel scared at all but her calmness and professionalism created a sense of zen. The aura of the also added to that aspect because again, I was so impressed with how clean everything was. I am not going to lie, I did have some preconceptions of how a tattoo/piecing shop was going to look and this was the opposite of what I was imagining.The total time that I was in the shop was probably 20-30 minutes. It was honestly quick and semi-painless. Just two quick pinches and that was that. The majority of the time was just going over where I want the piercings and the things to expect. I did bleed a little bit but it did stop after a couple of seconds. Sami even gave me her personal number on her piercing aftercare handout. This being my first piercing, she wanted me to let her know if anything went wrong. That gesture was definitely the cherry on top on an already wonderful occasion.This experience made me super excited for a possible tattoo. Tattoo artists conversation with me was highly sexual and very inappropriate; made repeated sexual comments to me in front of my husband with a needle in my skin where neither of us was in a position to object. Told me my belly piercing was infected (had a doctor check, it's fine). Also claimed to have participated in several murders for organized crime. Told a story about sending each other my pictures off my Instagram with the owner while trying to hide his phone from his wife. Claimed to have had a stroke, and thus have impulse control problems (no kidding). Tried to shake my husbands hand on the way out as if none of that happened. It was my cousins first tattoo, and they made her feel so welcome and at ease. I'm from California, and was visiting looking for a place, and the owner was dope enough to respond within 10 minutes to make sure we got taken care of. I was originally going to go to another tattoo shop for the friday the 13th special when my friend told me about this place. I'm really glad we chose to come to Skinfactory. Not only do they have a very clean environment, but they're all really friendly and handled one of the busiest days of the year with patience and kindness. They had a sign-up sheet and the stencils were already made which definitely helped the tattoo artists speed up the process. Bad experience. I went for my apointment for the laser removal and I went for my first laser treatment. They seemed in a hurry, and I had the laser done RAW without any cream applied so you can imagine.... and it was the first tattoo laser done on my skin. They were more concerned about other customers and didn't stop. I don't recommend this place.Read Less

This was my 3rd trip to the Skin Factory, my first not on a Friday the 13th. I'd actually made an appointment to see Eddie for a custom piece. I'd emailed him a picture of what I wanted. I'm a nutshell: On time. Organized. Super clean. Personable. Creative. Knowledgeable. My ink turned out GREAT. Eddie put some type of clear adhesive bandage over it for 24 hours.
