Robby is one of the best American Traditional Black/Grey artists, anywhere. I turned him loose with a a concept and I'm exceptionally pleased after nearly 25 hours of work on my back (with maybe that many to go?) It takes trust to sit with one artist for as many hours as I have - Robby earned mine. - I'll post photos of my back when it's "done" - in the meantime I enjoy chilling at a great shop at least once a month. I had gone in last night as a walk in with me cousin she wanted 2 and I just did one. My artist was Tony who just so happened to be the same guy that gave me a tattoo few months ago! It turned out great both times!!!! Anytime someone brings up tattoos, Viking is the first thing I think of. I've been to shops here and there in Omaha, but luckily I was referred here by a friend. I'll never go anywhere else. I did some search around Omaha before choosing Viking. I will tell you, I made the right choice! They were extremely welcoming from the start. Tony is an absolute brilliant mind blessed with a golden hand from the Good Lord. The line work and detail he put in to my first piece of this sleeve was incredible and exceeded my expectation. My friend called to make an appointment for us for two simple small tattoos, Viking Tattoo said that they were open and we don't need an appointment, just to walk in and they could get us in. So later on I called just to clarify, I asked if we could make an appointment to be safe, and again they told us they are open and do not need to make an appointment for us, just to walk in. So when we walked in and asked for two tattoos, they said they were booked with appointments all night and couldn't get us in....... and when I told them what was said on the phone they preceded to act like they would never say that. And instead of being nice and asking if we wanted to come back the next day, they were rude and didn't even give us an option to come back. I don't know what their reasoning was behind this but pretty unprofessional. Read Less

We put down their mandatory $20 for a deposit, booked in advance, and arrive at our scheduled time just to be told the tattoo artist was not there. No one called us to notify us of the cancellation and they didn't even offer to give our deposit back. Their customer service was awful, I would never go back. So I had gone to a different tattoo parlor a while back, had gotten shamed by the artist for my idea, and had been told by him to find a better idea. I had wanted an elephant tattoo on my wrist for 7 years and I wanted it to be my first so it made me feel awful. We went to Viking Tattoo and while my fiance was getting his, I talked about my idea and multiple artists told me it was a great idea and that if I wanted it I should get it. There are only a few people in this world I trust to make a permanent addition to my body. I would trust any artist in this shop. Rob has an eye for amazing artists and would never let anyone work here who wasn't top notch. I go to the the man himself and am never disappointed. My first tattoo was done by Aaron at Viking, he did a bigger tattoo than normal for your first tattoo, but it was a phenomenal experience he's great! working and talking to you at the same time, making you feel at home. It's been over a year and I'm ready for another, but with the kind of talent this man has best believe wait a few weeks men like this are not show up and tattoo they put time and effort in their work, and it pays off.
