I was going through a rough time with a loss of my sister. They got me right in. And seeing as how this was my first tattoo I had no idea what I was doing and continuously changed my mind. I always have Jeremy do my work. The dude is just plain awesome at his craft. I've read a few other complaints of things taking a while but I don't mind. It takes time to draw and customize pictures for people. I get it. I had him back out of an appt one time for personal reasons, but he made it right a few days later. My daughter had an appointment today for her first tattoo. I thought it was really great for the artist to come in on a day he normally doesn't work. Her appointment was at 1130 and at 1233 the artist finally showed up. He offered a very insincere apology, they confirmed what tattoos they were getting, and he disappeared to the back. After another 20-25 minutes waiting we left!! We had no idea what was going on and we're tired of waiting. I've saw some of this artists work and it is good however...his customer service skills have a lot to be desired. Very disappointed because he did come highly recommended. Read Less

I went here not long ago, and I am soooo glad I did! I had a barely drawn sketch of what I was thinking of getting... and Sam turned it into a work of art!!! Everyone there was friendly, the shop is clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere is far beyond what I have seen in the other tattoo shops around here. Bottom line; I love my tattoo, I love the tattoo parlor, and I couldn't thank my friend anymore for referring me to the Needle Bar! Needless to say, I'm going back there for my tattoos from now on! I purchased the living social deal that ran for $300 worth of tattoo services but wish I hadn't. I gave it to my brother for his birthday for his very first tattoo. He decided on something with a lot of shapes and lines but it wasn't something difficult to tattoo. I've been around tattoos enough to know this. Well, three shapes had color, just simple coloring in the lines is all we asked for. The artist couldn't even do that. Triangles were not even, lines weren't complete, and the color wasn't completely shaded or within the boundaries of the shapes. I'm talking about a circle and a crescent shape here, nothing difficult. Fortunately, my brother's tattoo is on his back so he can't see it, therefore he can't think about how bad it looks, he's too chill of a person.... I, however, will never be able to forget how awful it is and I feel terrible knowing I bought that thing for him. I don't recommend this tattoo parlor and I will never get any artwork done here. I got my first tattoo this weekend at The Needle Bar, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the time I called to book my appt to the time I walked out the door, the staff was courteous and polite. I drew a picture of what I wanted, and that's exactly what I got. Sam was very patient and personable, as well as very attentive to cleanliness and safety. The shop is clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable.
