I walked in on a weekday, and was immediately helped. :) no hassle, just to fill out a quick form, walk into the back, and bam, my nose piercing was done quick and easy. Went in for a septum. Shouldn't have even stayed after I saw the piercer tell a mother of two young girls that he would not pierce their ears because he used a needle and they should go somewhere with a gun, which NO QUALITY PIERCER will ever do. My septum is completely crooked and I have been crying since I left. Now I have to take it out, let it heal for WEEKS until it completely closes, and go through all this again if I even can with the scar tissue. I cannot stop crying because this should have never happened. If he had taken TWO SECONDS to look at it, this should've never happened. A few years back, Nick did a small tattoo for me. He was professional and very friendly. 3 months ago, I called to set up an appointment, and whoever answered, seemed as if I was an inconvenience, so I never went. Fast forward to today. I went down for my daughter to get a piercing, and did not realize that because she was underage, she needed her birth certificate. I brought it back and we were a go. Here is my problem though, the 2 males sitting at the front desk did not greet us. In fact, it felt as if we were disturbing them. When we came back, there was no type or glimpse of customer service. The piercer was one of them. I dont expect a life story to be told, but there was minimal talk, and I really wished he took the time to explain to my daughter the process and tools that are used in her piercing, it was her first. My daughter got minimal info on how to care for her nose piercing. It was 20 dollars. I gave him a 50 and told him to keep the change. I didnt do it because of the atmosphere or experience. I did it because we will never go back, and they might as as well enjoy the most money they will ever get from me. I really liked Nick, he did work for 2 of my friends, but unfortunately, I will never go back. Hey Authentic Ink, i get you have your own vibe and attitude about your shop. But you are in the buisness of customer service, and in a career of what you guys do, you get work by word of mouth. Spike did a damn good job on my cover up. Yeah it's just the first stage, but still the design and flow of my tat is perfect. I like it, my wife likes it even my 8yr old daughter likes. Great Place!! I've been going to Authentic for my ink and piercings for years. The guys are hilarious and extremely talented. My 16yr old son got his first tattoo yesterday and Spike did an AMAZING job not only on the tattoo but by making my son feel at ease. Colin pierced my Daith and was very nice and quick. The one and only piercer is very rude and unprofessional. Went to him for multiple piercings and have discontinued going there. The cheap prices are not worth the asshole you encounter. Terrible costumer service. Went in today to ask if they could help me change my nose ring. Apparently they didn't have the tools to do so but when I asked how I could do it at home, I was treated like I was a complete idiot. Always feel judged when going here and they all are so rude. Both of my piercings got infected when I got them done here, others of mine from big brain have never! Definitely recommend big brain- good customer service, good work, helpful, nonbitchy workers! Walked in last week just to have someone take my forward helix ring out (it was too tight for me to get out myself). The piercer did it no problem. This place is a joke! The woman at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming, and then she ended up being the actual piercer. Ugh. She didn't even show me the placement of where my nose hoop would be before she just jabbed the needle into my nose. I specifically asked her to pierce it through my old piercing scar, and she was way off. Then to top it off, she bent the hoop trying to close it. I was so irritated by that point, that I just paid to get the hell out of there and immediately called my regular piercing place (Liquid Courage) to ask if I could make the drive there so they could fix it. Been coming in every 2 or 3 weeks having Nick working on a sleeve. It's a dragon breathing fire down on a Viking trying to fight him off with a trident. On the underside on my tricep, I wanted a flaming Huskers sign. On the inside of my forearm is a flaming skull. Lots of big colors.
