I love this place! The atmosphere is so comfortable and laid back. The artists are very reasonable with pricing and not too expensive at all. Josh was so precise with my tattoo and it's placing. I got a tattoo on my opposite side rib of where I'd already had another tattoo and wanted them to be symmetrical. He did a perfect job on my tattoo! I went here to get a navel piercing. It didn't feel right almost right away. After 6 days it was bruised, red, and super painful. I went back and they told me everything was fine. It still didn't look or feel right so I went to iron brush to see what they have to say. They said it was pierced too deep and the barbell was too small and if I didn't get it changed out soon it would be engulfed into my stomach. Don't recommend seductive ink! So I had been thinking about getting a tattoo for quite some time. I hadn't really wanted to do this until about 3 months ago but I happen to be moving across the country, away from my grown kids and sort of felt the need to mark this in an usual way. I took my design idea, at the spur of the moment and went for it. The guys at Seductive Ink were great. I had called another place and really wasn't impressed with there phone manners- I called and they were friendly and not condescending- explained the whole process and made it fun. Got my tongue pierced here, got a good price for it when but when I left it was very very crooked. There is no way the piercer didn't realize it was crooked when it was done. Went back and was offered to have it redone in a week or so (Should have been at least 3 weeks according to my regular piercer out of town), but I decided I will not be going back, I'm honestly afraid to have it done there again. I have had the pleasure of coming here for the better part of fifteen years for 95% of the artwork I've had tattooed on me. Every single time, I have left pleased with the results, and have referred friends/family there for any of their tattoo requests. I have pulled art off of the flash books for one tattoo, but the other eight have been custom pieces. I have been so happy with the custom pieces I have had drawn up for me, Josh takes my ideas that I have, and makes them so much better---his talent and artistic eye are far better than what I could do. He has always stressed aftercare, and encourages you to call back/stop in if you ever have any questions. I scratched one of my tattoos in the healing process before, and he touched it up after it was fully healed, with no questions asked. I have gotten 2 done at other shops in town, and you can tell that there was a reason they were so cheap---they haven't held up over the years. The ones that Josh has done for me, reaching back to 2002, are still as vibrant and beautiful as ever. This is the ONLY place I go to for any tattoo work/piercing work, since I trust them, and have always been happy with the work. The shop is clean, and Josh has all of the sterilization equipment out in the open, and opens the fresh needles right in front of you, so you are 100% confident that all precautions and regulations for cleanliness are followed. I have never had a bad experience here. There is a reason that this is the only place I go to, and I have the bright, vibrant, detailed artwork to prove why. Read Less

First tattoo, first review. Went for my 27th birthday gift to myself. Celebrating being a poet, doing the whole grad school thing, having my best friend in town, how much I love Emily Dickinson. Jesus Josh was one of the only artists open in Lincoln on Sunday. That's like at least three points right there. His front desk dude is a guy with a 27 inch mohawk (I'm all about numbers as signs) and he turns 30 in September. Nice, dude. The tattoo process was super fast, thank God, felt like bee stings or moodiness with a razor. Jesus Josh was efficient but also aloof. I'm glad I showered a lot this weekend because he enjoyed talking shit about previous clients. A few racist/misogynist comments thrown in there. But he had a needle to my wrist.
