I got a cover up tattoo from Dave on Tuesday and I was happy with it. BUT then on Friday I went back to get a sunflower tattoo. What a huge disappointment. When he finished the flower I mentioned I didn't think it was dark enough. He said it'll be ok once the blood stops.... Nope!! It looks dull and unfinished. Which it actually is in the middle. He didn't finish that part and he put very little green in the stem and leaves. When I spoke to him about it, the first words out of his mouth were "you signed the paper before we started" then proceeded to tell me it was my fault because the picture of the tattoo I brought him was one that was already on someone's skin. He just kept rambling on and on about how it wasn't his fault. After about 7 minutes of that he said well you can come back in within 6 months and get a touch up for free if you don't screw it up before that.  The first thing he should've said was I'm sorry your disappointed, how about you come back when it's healed and I'll touch it up.  Not quality work, not professional, not the place you want to get a tattoo. I liked the woman who did my tattoo, she was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. But as far as one co-worker making comments about my heritage - NATIVE AMERICAN (saying stuff about Sweat Lodges and Sun Dances) that should not be allowed. And the co-worker talking about another Native American steeling a dog and thinking we knew who he was talking about saying he was going to kick that guys ass that stole the dog looking directly at my husband. Should really keep their personal beef out of the business area. Clean, fun, spacious tattoo shop!!! VERY CLEAN! Dave Johnson has an amazing hand and touch when tattooing! Very open, understanding, and looks out for the best interest of the client! All of my tattoos (3/4 sleeve and other areas) have healed PHENOMENALLY!! I've gotten tremendous amounts of ink, and have spent so much time there! All their regular customers feel the same! What an amazing shop, and great place to be!! :) With all the ink I've gotten there, I've never had any issues! I've ALWAYS been super impressed! So has everyone who have seen my work! This shop works with really great standards and ETHICS! VERY ARTISTIC, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE!
