Firstly, I'd follow Tanya Nevins anywhere! I've never met an artist that has cared as much as she does about the tattoo, client, attention to detail, and everything else that goes into a tattoo. If you're looking for someone who's easy to talk to and will listen, detail, color, and originality... I cannot recommend Tanya enough! She's taken my ideas and created beautiful, bright, and whimsical characters to represent such important and meaningful people and parts of my life... some she has drawn beforehand and others straight onto my body to fit perfectly in with the rest. It's very comfortable and the other artists did not make me feel unwelcome or like what I was getting was stupid or in a stupid place on the body. Jeremy, Mike and I walked in the door and had a couple of questions about a tattoo. Logan and Garrett were very helpful cool to be around. We were gonna go home and think about but they told us to sit tight and hang out and see what they could come up with for J's tattoo. Mike thought he wanted a cross wrapped on his forearm. But, Logan showed him a rose and that is what he got. Turns out Logan specializes in the rose and its one of his favorite tattoos to do. Thank you Logan. Clean shop, friendly staff but beyond all Jason Reynolds is the best tattoo artist hands down out there! He truly is an amazing artist. He knows what he's doing and really puts time into creating a piece. He won't let you just get something without thinking into it. He really knows his craft and his passion clearly shows. So I called to schedule an appt in May bcuz I seen his wrk and fell in love with it!! So jason was booked until June 10th which is today. I figured it'll b worth the wait bcuz his wrk was beautiful!! I was so excited to get my tat done by him!! So today when I walked in and showed him wat I wanted done, it was like he made it seem impossible to do! So he went to drawl it up and showed me and there was a few things missing from the picture I brought in!! So everytime I made a ...suggestion, it got rejected!! It was like he didn't even wanna do it, then he started having a bit of an attitude!! I drove 45 min to his shop and waited two months to get it done!!! So everything i suggested he didn't wanna do and everything he suggested I didn't like and bcuz of tht, he had an attitude!! Aren't u and the artist supposed to wrk together and come up with sumthn u both r happy with?! Nope, not him!!!! So needless to say, I didn't get my tattoo I waited two months for bcuz he said it was to complicated when all it was was my three kids footprints, names and D.O.B with a little design tht represents each one of them!!! My husband and I walked in this morning, they are open on Mondays, and received two beautiful Tattoos! I can not thank Shawn and the gentleman who did my husbands tattoo (I did not catch his name) enough for the wonderful job they did. James is a true artisan, and a master of his craft. His work shows for itself, but his mindset going into the tattoo is what sets him aside from the average artist. He takes into account things you wouldn't even consider, not only to preserve your experience (he wants you to enjoy it); but also, to protect the tattoo throughout its life. I won't consider going to another artist unless he refers me to them. James just finished his 4th tattoo on me if that tells you anything. Couldn't recommend a better and more custom experience and that isn't just because I like my tattoos. Look up chesterfield tattoo where he used to work before he opened his own shop, all his positive feedback is what led me to him in the first place.
