I got my first tattoo here. Everyone in the shop was extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. It was spotless and I wasn't punched in the face by screamo music when I walked in the door. Shelbie (an "apprentice") did my tattoo, a quote from The Lord of the Rings on my bicep. I love it so much. I'm so glad I went with my gut, and that I chose the artist whom I chose. She was fun to sit with and to talk to about books and sci-fi (and sci-fi books) while she did my tattoo, I don't regret anything about the experience. A wonderful business! From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. Which is huge when most tattoo shops are busy playing their music too loud and popping their gum in clear annoyance you exist. A few years ago I received a tattoo of Lucille Ball from Kyle. I looked for a portrait artist for years before I finally found Kyle to do mine. His style is so unique and he's just plain amazing at what he does. I recently just started my half sleeve with him, and it's more beautiful than I could of ever imagined. I've received so many compliments on my portrait, and after 3 years... it still looks like it's fresh out of the shop! I have gone to Washington Tattoo Collective twice now. Shelbi did my most recent tattoo. She was great. Didn't even complain when I asked her to reapply my stencil in and different way. Facility is very clean and everyone that worked there was very nice and professional. I do plan on returning in the future to have Shelbi do some more art for me. Read Less

I receive a tattoo tonight from Kyle. The experience from start to finish she was great. I asked a ton of questions and emailed lots of pictures. I am sure they got sick of it but were not thing but helpful. Upon arriving Kyle had the tattoo drawn up but I did not live the birds. He free handed those in my shoulder and it looked looks perfect.
