Dustin has an incredible talent with his craft. I come from a family of artists including my dad who tattooed for almost 30 years. I spent a lot of time searching for an artist I felt comfortable with and could trust to work on me after my dad's passing. Choosing an artist for a permanent and very personal piece of work is so important, and Dustin, aka Panda, exhibits every quality you want in a tattoo artist. I love the time and thought he took in reimaging my 18 year old piece that was originally drawn by my mother and tattooed by my father. Reasons for getting a tattoo are different for everyone, and this piece is deeply personal and emotional for me. Dustin blew my mind! He re-created a masterpiece and i'm in love with the work he did on my back. I trusted his vision, and he took the time to show me what his vision was before he started. He was able to preserve the original tattoo that I loved and expand the design and incorporate his style and vision into the piece. Highly recommend Nate Peters. Nate has done 4 of my 8 tattoos and I can't say enough good things about him or his work. I live in Aurora IL and never pass on a stop to see him when visiting a good friend in MO. I would even travel the 7+ hours just to get a new piece by him. Nate and Bryan volunteered their time and skills at Ozarks Technical Community College to work with the Counseling Department to increase awareness and prevention of sexual assault by drawing non-permanent tattoos on students, faculty, and staff. They both "tattooed" for 4.5 hours without taking breaks to ensure that as many people as possible were helped. Their work was absolutely beautiful and students are asking when they will be coming back because it was a fun, impactful event because of Nate and Bryan. moth is the first studio ive had multiple artists at the same time working on my pieces. All of the artists are talented, pricing is great for a talented and clean shop. Bryan and hollie are amazing, but ive seen great work from everyone. You can often book within 2 weeks which is great as well, some shops have months of waiting list. Read Less

Hollie has worked on 3 different pieces for me over the years. Her work is phenomenal! No one in Springfield does a better job with color and shading.  She will take any concept and make it into an original piece.  I would suggest coming to her with an idea, but not a final image and let her blow your mind with her own creativity. Beyond the amazing artistry and talent that Hollie and her whole crew have I want to comment on the good energy and great spirit that comes from Hollie and Moth Studio. Tattoo artist as a whole have sort of an earned reputation for not being very nice because a lot of people come in and look and then leave. It seems today that most tattoo artist don't give you the time of day until you're actually showing them money. I feel a lot more tattoo artist would make a lot more mone...y if they showed the good positive energy that Hollie shows! She treats you like a real human being and she is one of the most caring, kind and generous human beings I have had the pleasure to meet. When I set out on my own to open my own studio after being with another studio for 24 years Hollie was the first one to reach out to me with kind words and support and that's something that I will never forget. People in our industry tend to bicker and talk bad about each other but I have never seen nor heard of her talking badly of anyone. I feel that beyond being an amazing artist she is an amazing human being and she is a plus to our industry as a whole. People are willing to shop around when buying a new car and no car no matter how much it costs will last as long as a tattoo. So If you're willing to shop around for a new car make sure you stop in and see Hollie. I think the difference in the way that she treats you (if you've gone to any other shops for comparison) will become so obvious and readily apparent. The artists are wonderful and each has their own strong suit. When an artist isn't as well suited for a tattoo you are looking for, they have another artist who is able to fill in.
