Have gotten 2 tattoos there and plan on getting my third soon. I don't remember the name of the man that has done my tattoos but he is cool. Also, very reasonable prices. He is also very honest which I like since a tattoo is permanent. Read Less

I went in to this shop to ask about piercings, and did not inquire at all about tattoo work so I can't comment on that. My experience went like this: I walked into the shop with hopes of having one of my piercings removed. I had already tried myself with no success so I decided to let a professional do it. When I walked through the front doors I had trouble locating any sort of reception area. I walked past a desk with an older gentleman sitting at it watching what looked to be cctv. He did not greet me or even turn away from his monitor. There was another woman at one of the stations who looked at me and then still didn't great me. I stood around for several minutes in silence before a man came out and asked me what kind of art I was looking to get, and when I told him I was interested in piercings he directed me to Ron, the gentleman at the desk, and then quickly walked away and did not say anything else to me. Ron still did not turn away, not until I loudly called his name. I told him what piercing I had and asked him if he did work with those kinds of piercings and he said "sometimes" which should have been a red flag, on top of that, he had literally NO IDEA what piercing I had. He was completely unfirmiliar with it, eve though it's a very common piercing. I should have walked out then. I told him I wanted it removed thinking that he would at least be able to do that for me. He just looked at me puzzled and said in some variation that it was a stupid request and I should just go home and do it myself, and then he laughed at me. I think this is due to a combination of serious laziness (large man, didn't get out of seat, didn't turn away from screen) and lack of experience ("sometimes", unfamiliar with piercing). I walked out of the shop feeling embarrassed (NOT how you want to leave a body art studio) and disgruntled. I'm giving them two stars because from what I've seen they do nice tattoos and it is entirely possible that they do not specialize in piercings, but if that was the case it should have been brought to my attention.
