I had a 2 pm appointment and when I got there at 2:10 the door was locked and no one answered the door.I called no one answered the phone.Very, very unprofessional.Would never go there for any work, can't trust them to show up when a appointment was made, sure not going to trust them to put a permanent tattoo on my body..Josh Johnson highly disappointed in him....It's making me give a star rating but I don't want to give none.. Josh is amazing, he has phenomenal color work. He made getting my first tattoo a less stressful event than I made it to be, they played music while getting tattoo, talked to me throughout the whole process making me feel at ease. He has an apprentice named Jordan who does amazing work as well (I love his cartoon characters). I would trust both of these guys to tattoo me in a heartbeat. Wow!!! Where do I start, I can't say enough about Heyoka (meaning Josh). This is the only person that will ever tattoo me, well besides Jordon his apprentice which just put an adorable piggy on me, Josh has done several tattoos on me and I love them all, he takes the time to listen to what you want and he goes above and beyond to make it perfect for you, the colors he uses are so vibrant and beautiful. I was nervous about getting my first tattoo especially after being disappointed with the other shops I went to in Springfield but as soon as I started talking with Josh I knew I was in the right place. He explained everything in full detail right from the beginning step by step. The whole shop was clean and all the equipment he used for my tattoo was opened right in front of me. He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and offered me breaks throughout the whole session. Without a doubt Heyoka Tattoo is the place to go if you're looking to get a tattoo.
