A couple of years ago I got a tattoo here by the owner/Ron. I've never seen a more poorly created piece of "art" in my lifetime. Super rude, super heavy handed, and about as skilled with an ink machine as a small toddler. Wildly overpriced in store items, like a bottle of numbing cream for all day tattooing costs $18.99 from the store but costs $40 at this tattoo shop. If you're scared about getting some ink, go to Clifford or Oso and avoid the rest of them like a toddler with an AIDS needle that can permanently screw up your skin. You've been warned. Response to Owner: Be a professional and you wouldn't earn a 1 star, also I had a 20 year old, half your age fix your piece for half the price and still was more professional and did the one job he was asked to do. Beyond awesome place! Everyone here is super nice and super cool to everybody. We consider ourselves fortunate and blessed to have found this place when we did. Cliff is definitely the best artist I have ever seen. He does magazine front cover/celebrity quality artwork. He understands exactly what you want, but will make it even better. Last week we got stupid and went by Ink Slingers for something small. Immediately regretted that decision. But the good news is tha...t Cliff can fix their horrible work, and I know he will make it into something better. I can't wait. Last night at electric voodoo tattoo we had fun just hanging out and talking with everyone. We ended up staying way late into the night. Went there yesterday for the first time. They aren't usually open on Sunday's but luckly Ron was able to get me in. He's such a nice guy and does great work. We talked and laughed the whole time. It was my first tattoo and had a tattoo in mind for my forearm, in honor of my uncle who had the same tattoo and committed suicide. So it was a very personal thing to mw and made sure it was done right. My artist was Jason, and he did phenominal. He took the time and care to make sure it was done right, resizing certain parts to make sure they stood out, all the lines were straight, and that the color was bold and very outstanding. He even made sure I had understood what it took to take care of it, and gave me some tips even after it was healed. My artist was Kyle. I brought him pictures of what I wanted and he understood my vision immediately. He hand drew the outline and didn't use a stencil. It is an amazing piece and he didn't stop working on it until it was perfect. He even stayed way late to ensure it was completed and exactly what I wanted. Night before, Get a txt from the artist (who I have been faithful too since being an apprentice, followed them through three shops) saying that they had an emergency and would not be back in town till early next week. I went in for my second tattoo to place on my foot. It was something I was wanting to do for some time and finally decided to give myself a birthday present and go get one. I went to Electric Voodoo Tattoo and it was a VERY clean, friendly shop. I love what the outcome of my tattoo wound up being.
